Witness Statement: My mothers partner returned home about 22:00, he told me he saw an orange orb in the sky. i went to check and nothing was there. went out at 22:15 for a smoke and saw it. i was a very bright orange orb, stationary, i stared at it trying to work out what it was. it then started to move to the left slowly then suddenly dimmed and moved rapidly upwards. i have noticed a few similar sightings. any ideas on what it is?

Witness Statement: Sighting of Unidentified Object in Night Sky.

Date: 1 Sept 2010
Place: Bilston, Nr Wolverhampton, West Midlands, UK
Time: 22.15-22.30
Direction: North-West and West
Weather conditions: 20% cloud otherwise, clear, dark sky. Few stars apparent. Still, quiet night. No wind
Observed by me and my spouse.

Event description: observed stationary orange-red globe. North west. Stationary for minimum 5 minutes. Then extremely rapid fall straight down, disappearing behind trees on the horizon. No sound of explosion-even though one was expected as it should have hit the ground at high speed.

At same time-a second sphere. Again stationary, although dimmer, and flashing red/green, more towards west.

Observers went indoors. 30 minutes later, second sphere had disappeared.Manner of disappearance unknown.

Witness Statement: I went to the garden last night to have a cigarette with my daughter and we saw 2 star like orange lights which were bigger than stars, they just hovered in the one place for 3 mins and then slowly started to disappear, there was no noise, and it was a clear sky,My youngest daughter told me she saw it too and saw the same things 2 nights previous when she was outside playing so its been spotted 2 times in 36 hrs This freaked us out and i managed to quickly get my camera to get a picture of it Im sure this is what other people have saw and convinced it was ufo,s I have emailed my nearest airport to ask if anythng showed up in the radar

Witness Statement: my son saw it firstflying from the west heading north at a rapid speed it was i thougtht about 30 0r40 thousand feet i loked at it through the spy glasses it looked very big itwas coverered in white light 15 minutetes later another object much higher than the other and flying alot faster it was difficult to follow with your eye aas it was traveling to fast to track with the glasses 5 of us wittnessed this this may not be much of a report but we have seen unexplained objects beffore on the same flight path.

Witness Statement: Hi, my partner and a few of his friends saw something unexplainable in the small village we live it. He said he seen one light after another appearing from no where in the night where u could still see visible clowds in the sky but it was dark. Then the lights started to form a triangle shape and stayed in that shape for a few seconds then the 3 red/orange lights dissapeared, once that happened another 4 lights appeared again but didnt form a shape but hovered in the sky then u could see them dissapear again in the opposite direction together, now I have had a few sightings that I cannot explain but never forming a shape so I do think this is very odd, wondering if anyone else from Forth has seen this, would like to know as theres alot of people from this village thats seen many things like this, I just wish we could all find out what these sightings are or if its military, so annoying! lol x now my friends arent one to beleave that theres anything out there till now as they have never seen anythiing like this. Very creepy i think, let me know if anyone has seen anything like this in the area. thanks x

Witness Statement: i went outside about quarter to ten for a cigerette, looked up and saw a light the same size as a star moving across the sky, i didnt take much notice untill i reallised how fast it was moving, on my left i saw a helicopter some distance away and the light was going towards it, then out of nowhere i heard a faint whisp and the light shot off just behind the helicopter, it left a small but bright tail like on a shooting star, i was weirded out at this point. Then about 20 seconds later the light appeared again in front of the helicopter for about 10 seconds then shot off again with the same sound and tail as before, a split second later i saw another flash of a light shoot over my house with the same tail but no sound this time,(when i say over my house it was high high above i assume because it was quite alot smaller this time,) im not saying its e.t, just that it weirded me out and i have never seen anythink nove that fast then vanish and appear somewhere else,

Witness Statement: Looking out of my window as I lay in bed I saw a brightly lit light moving at speed from left to right across my field of vision, it drew my attention because it was not the flight path of air traffic normally and was moving at speed. My wife joined me at the window and agreed it looked like a slightly orange street lamp and larger than a star. I opened the window and there was no noise AT ALL and its flight path was extremely straight and approx 1.5 to 3 thousand feet. I am an ex aircraft engineer so am knowledgeable about aircraft and air travel and this stood out as peculiar. Its course did not change whilst in my field of vision and headed toward Bloxwich. I am not a UFO fan or skeptic but this was strange and the Chinese lantern justification does not hold up in the slightest!
