This is a different Michael from the one that gave the Eildons report above. I was going to comment that I have many photos of ufos and craft over and around the three Eildon Hills (see website link). But I have just realised that I have four photos from the same date as this report – 7th Feb 2009 – which appear to show one craft coming down in altitude, being joined by a second craft, finally with a halo of light around the two craft. This took place over a period of just over one minute, at 5.40pm, on 7th February, at Selkirk; approximately five miles south-west of the Eildon Hills.

Hi Michael & Michael,
Ive just moved to the area (Gala) from Glasgow and looking to get involved with a group or folk with this interest and truth seeing.
Can anyone advise of there are any ocal UFO Groups in the Borders ?
Ive had quite a few experiences and sightings, one only a few nights ago before I moved down and as a kid at age 12, I spent a week in Melrose on a school trip in 1978 or 79 and have since then been somehow attached to Merlose, as it also ick started a musical career ! 30 years later Im back and living close to where I have a strong bond !
Cheers
Pete

Pete,
It’s great you are in the Eildon Hills area, Pete. After photographing three craft over the Eildons in January 2007, I felt I should move here too. Now we’re both here; and we are both seeing unusual aerial objects.
There’s one of those legends, connected with the three Eildons, of King Arthur and the Knights waiting, ready to return at the right time. The legend for the Eildons is very interesting. You can read the story, or legend, here: http://www.britannia.com/history/arthur/eildon.html
Re: ‘Can anyone advise of there are any ocal UFO Groups in the Borders?’
There’s you and me, that’s a start. Have a search of YouTube for ‘Galashiels’ videos. A few months ago, someone in Gala was videoing one or two lights hovering and moving around the outskirts of Galashiels. Quite dramatic.
After 30 years travels …. Welcome back, Pete.
Great wishes, Michael

Saturday 12 September. Great Barr Birmingham.Witnessed around dusk what appeared to be a large star, as the stars were coming out at the time .Noticed it was moving and omitting no sound. Also observed no flashing lights i.e. navigation lights etc. Witnessed planes in the area , one of which flew BENEATH the object, so air traffic in the area must have seen it.The object was far brighter than the lights on the plane.Got binoculars from house and observed for approximately 2 mins until light vanished, as if switched off.Total observation time at least 5 minutes. It travelled in a straight line.
