Witness Statement: A bright orange light, like a fire ball moving at a steady space. It was realy weird. Did any one else see this?

Hi Rachel, and UK UFO Sightings,
I read your witness report with interest. Are you able to estimate the height, direction and speed of the object you saw?
And how and when did you lose sight of it (e.g. did it disappear, go over the horizon, went behind buildings, etc.)?

Whilst taxiing with a customer in the car on Sunday 19th April at 22:50 hrs suddenly I swore and said “Whats that…in the sky.” the customer is a witness as she saw it as well. I was working in Darwen, Lancashire at the time when I saw, which I think was a cone shape object like one of those chip cartons you get at the seaside, the shape was a slow horizontally moving orange flame, there were no flames leaping out from the sides of the shape, the flame was confined to that cone and was active just like looking at a bonfire. The spectacle was I would presume to be about 200 feet up and was slow moving with a deliberate straight course and I stopped the car to get a proper view. It was not a plane, helicopter or a hot air baloon of which I would have familiarised the object to if it was any of these as I have worked on the taxi’s for 14 years and seen all kinds of things including eclipses, comets, shooting stars, meteors and yes a massive green fireball complete with sparks and bellowing smoke, this was I think in 2002. I carried on the journey to just around the corner keeping track of the object through the windscreen, we noticed it looked as though it had stopped but I think what it was it had changed direction from at first Eastwards to a more Northerly direction thus the angle of sight was altered. I was excited and was shouting to the desk operator to get outside and look, I arrived back at our base to tell the story.

I was at the top of cromwell road at pendleton round about, has i stoped i saw the bright orange light. It was traveling towards me at first and then changed direction towards manchester city centre. I can say it was not a helicopter or plane. It was about 150-200feet in the air. It had a sort of orb around it and made no noise. The only way i can discribe it is a fireball. This was not a shooting star or a meteor has it was to slow travelin about 20mile per hour.

I can’t remember the exact date, but it was arounnd the 24th when I spotted a similar object from my flat window in West Didsbury as I was looking in the direction of Moss side/salford.
I saw what at first appeared to be an anonymous black object in the sky moving slowly horizontally from south east to north west.
Due to the objects apparent distance i thought it must be a helicopter, however after closer studying of the shape I could not explain what it was?
As the object moved on a large orange flame appeared from the underneath, and seemed to slightly change shape from an oval to a more trinangular shape.

I saw a bright orange object crossing the sky north-east to south-west at approx 0130. It was glowing in all directions like a fireball and then instantly disappeared. I live in Northamptonshire. My neighbours also saw it.

basically i was with ma 2 cuzins on the 19th september nd one of them shouted stop the car i think ive just seen sumthing nd no doubt he had it was 3 bright orange lights moving at a steady speed but then 1 slowed down nd fell behnd the other 2 nd sudddenly it sped up nd managed to catch the other 2 up then they formed a triangular formation and floated upwards have heard of other sightings around the world on this date mine was at around 10:30 19 september 2009 i would love to hear anybody elses experences i was on the border between richmond and isleworth when this happened and we were over looking heathrow airport they were about 200 feet in the air.

On Monday the 26Th, my son came running down the stairs, shouting ” there’s a meteorite in the sky”. At this we both went out side to take a look. I said ” that’s not a meteorite, I don’t know what it is!” “. We can only describe it as a flaming orange ball, with parts of it dropping away as it glided across the sky, and into the clouds.

Hi, I saw the orange globes in the sky on sunday night (25 Oct) and again tonight (27 Oct). There not aerophanes because there is no noise coming from them. They move quickly from side to side which an aeroplane couldnt do. After 5 minutes they disappeared by going higher into the sky and the orange light faded. There was two of them and my partner saw them one night last week two when he was riding home on his bike to Salford. I live in Salford 6 and saw these lights whilst in my garden.

hi.. i have been watching these objects for over a year now.. i live in Cheshire .I intend to film them soon as possible.. my friend has a photo,but not a very clear one.. i’m pretty sure from what i have read on the net lately , they are up an down the UK.

wow there are alot of orange lights in the sky..
i have seen two of these .i thought ufo for sure,,.they were moving weird ,,,they were bright orange flames ,,,, and one of them was flickering before it disappered…
im not totally sure wot these lights are..but i suspect they are chinese lanterns.it is strange ,cos iv not ever seen chinese lanterns in the uk before ,,but have a look on youtube..

did anyone else see this pair..21/11/09 two of these moving orange looking objects they almost looked like balls on fire but could have been kind of lantern shaped, difiicult to describe but werent totally full of fire, just like electric lights, very bright they moved together in a straight line pretty quickly, they just vanished out of our vision. an absolute amazing site, i thought they must be ufo’s cant think of anything else they could be. occurred Saturday 21 November 2009 monton road area. eccles around 10pm

I saw an orange light one night last week (can’t remember which night tho). It was travelling slowly and at first I thought it might be a hot air balloon. I saw it from my living room window, which is south facing, around 6.15pm and it went over the house and I ran upstairs and watched it go over Wardle then it vanished from my sight.

I saw 3 big, bright orange lights…all in a line, on dec 22nd 2009, approx 18.30pm over Redditch, Worcestershire. I had never seen anything like it before and didnt realise it was a space station! Amazing stuff!!!

Iv seen a number of these lights nw but the strange thing is what I seen today the 26 dec 09 it was 1 of the orange lights about 300 feet in the air movin to my right it then dropped an orange light wich just fell downwards and the origional light shot of in the direction it came

Seen this light last night over Darwen it was coming from the direction of Manchester at 11:00 pm and was moving horizontal it was orange and quite large…moving steady and slow….it went out of total sight as if it changed direction travelling upwards until it disappeared from sight…..~No sound but very bright….almost like a shooting star but in slow motion.

About 2:20 am on the 16/07/10 my brother called me into his room to show something that looked like a star, but i couldnt beilive my eyes when it started moving left to right, over the hour and half we watched them we noticed more & more flying together, it look like cuslters of 4 joining into one, like flys breading.. then a really fast one with red flashing lights going straight past, to fast to be a plane… this was a truely amazing sight to see right from the bedroom window… i hear live on facebook theres been sights in swinton and on the height.. our sight was ended towards langworthy road way. if any one else see out let me know. thanks

Forget chinese lanterns. Lets talk about objects that seem to be under intelligent control.In response to angelo amoroso , me and my girlfriend saw something similar but a little different. We live in the lower broughton area and at around 2 am had been in the kitchen making some food. I had looked out of the window and there was a bright star in the sky(looking in the direction of strangeways). This was normal, and I had seen it the night before. I then went into my living room and back into the kitchen when I noticed two stationary white lights to the left of the star, and slightly above it. As I notified my girlfriend to come into the kitchen they faded away to nothing ie they dimmed. A short time later I started to see lights flashing on and off in different locations in the sky, so notified my girlfrind again to come and have a look. We then both witnessed a white light appear out of nowhere, it then dimmed a little and moved to the left and shortly after made a very bright pulse/flash, then carried on moving towards the left as it dimmed again into nothing. Five minutes later I saw something similar to what I have just described except this time it was two objects and no pulsing on this occasion, witnessed by both of us. I would also like to add that the night before I saw a bright star like object travelling from the salford preicent area( roughly)traveling in a straight line, at quite a slow speed, over our tower block, in the direction of the MEN arena. I have witnessed this many times in the five to six years that I have lived here, maybe ten to twelve times at a guess.These recent events that Im reporting happened on the fifteenth and sixteenth of august. The singular star object at around 3.00 am and the multiple sightings at around 2-3.30 am.

last night at about 9 ish I was having a drink in my kitchen with my g/f. We live in Pendleton Centre, I was looking toward the police station area when suddenly a green ball of light with a white light around it shot from the sky.. If I was to compare the height to one of the tower blocks such as briar hill court and shot down to about the ninth floor behind I think what is called walter greenwood flats. I have never seen anything like it in my life. I know what planes, choppers and fireworks look like and have seen shooting stars in Spain but never seen an object like this before. It moved faster than a plane. I saw it for about 4 seconds and by the time I said, oh my god look at that to my g/f it had gone behind the block. This to me was a sign and I decided I wanted to get in touch with the spirit world and we did the ouija board. We did if for about 2 hours and it worked. I have only just entered a search in google and found this site so thought I would leave a message because I dont know who I should tell about this. any comments welcome.
