Witness Statement: I popped into tesco eastville cafe where i work to finish off some paperwork, when i came out of the staff reception at around 22.20 i seen an object in the sky, I looked at it for a second and thought it was a balloon but then noticed it wasnt floating up it was soaring forward and at an incredible speed, it was a circular disk shape, not perfectly round tho couldnt of been too big either because it wasnt that high and had a yellow glow, it was a sunburst effect almost, but there was no noise, tesco at that time isnt that busy so a aviation sound stands out a mile, i looked closer at this thing which was pretty low but fast, it didn't deviate from its projection but a round 10 secs later a a bright light soared roughly the same direction but at a much much higher altitude. it moved faster than a comercial airline but flew straight it headed up towards gloucester direction. if anyone else seen something similar then i would really like to hear more about it.
it may well of been a chinese lantern but it was fast, it had a burning effect at the back so who knows.Source:Direct request on UK-UFO

sitting in my garden tonight at 23 00 with my dad and he noticed 2 bright orange lights flying in the sky at first, then we waited and about 5 minutes later another came, followed by 3 in a row after that. Same posts as the previous ones on this about the bright orange glows. Snapped a few pictures of them, who knows what they are.. any ideas?

We saw it too. We were camping in Matlock (Derbyshire) on saturday night and we only saw 1, but we had been drinking so could of been more.
We have taken pic’s too.
I was a bright orange ball of fire and went very very fast through the sky, then just dissapeared into the distance….WOW!

Me and my boyfriend were walking back home at this time and also saw a orange light that was moving at some speed, then stopped and then moved off again. It was definatly not a plane. I would describe it as looking like a fire ball. It never moved in just one direction we are very baffled as to what we saw. glad we werent the only ones who saw it.
