Witness Statement: bright orange / red glow, first thought was plane on fire,as result dialled 999 very close to house, hovered for around 2 mins then came closer, object was totally silent then moved away away and gained height. Total time viewed was approx 5 min.Never seen anything like it before. Would be greatful if anyone can offer any comment. Bearing in mind I work with the emergency services on a daily basis, the desicion to call them was not taken lightly. Many thanks
