Witness Statement: My husband and I were in the car on the way home just after leaving my sisters house from dropping my eldest son off for a sleep over, it was a lovely clear night and when we were leaving her estate we saw 3 orange objects in the sky they were much brighter then street lights and they were much higher up and spaced equally apart from eachother in an arched formation, we followed them as it was the direction we were going in to a couple of streets and then suddenly the furthest away light dimmed a bit then went out, this was followed by the middle one soon after and then the nearest one to us dimmed and went out. We did exclaim it was bizzare but gave it not much more thought until we arrived to our estate about 3 miles away and when we turned into a road we saw another 2 orange lights looking exactly the same as 1st 3 did, we tried taking a picture of it but it never actually showed up on the camera phone screen as if it was not there but when we looked over the camera phone they were there getting closer to us, they came directly in front of us and then dimmed and disapeared like the other 3 did 1st of all.Source:Direct request on UK-UFO

i’ve seen similar things in the same area earlier today (10th august 2009) i witnessed several orange lights in the sky, they were to the south as i travelled home from my duties on my squadron, at first i thought that they were aircraft, but they began to move erratically, bobbing up and down and side to side, seeming to form the shape of orion before moving to pegasus and then ursur major, i would have thought these to be aircraft but any aircraft that could emit such light would emit a more purple tinge than the bright orange. either way, the lights didnt seem to be emitted from any aircraft that is in the current british inventory so either different secret tech is being used, another force is in our air space, missiles are passing through although they wouldnt deviate from a set course and a point to point course is common practice, or something not of this world is practicing formation flight over roseberry topping.

I seen the very same things last night (11 august 2009) to the south of my home, my next door neighbour had mentioned he had seen these things in the sky a few weeks previous but, with me being ever the sceptic i dismissed it, well last night was a turning point for me, i arrived back home in the car about 9:30pm and saw a bright orange light in the sky coming my way i thought it was a plane as we get alot passing by us, but it had no navigation lights on it just a big orange ball of light! and it was silent, it headed to the south and i thought it would either dim off or the lights would go out all toghter as it passed over and the lights would end up @ the other side of the plane but it didnt it stayed bright orange like it was a orb of light then i saw the Four orange lights in the sky in a perfect formation lighting up and going out again.. when the orb reached the four lights they all went out and vanished!
now like i say im very very very sceptical but i just can not explain this at all!!

Monday 10th August 2009 9.45pm Fairfield, Stockton-on-Tees. We saw from the window of the pub at Fairfield five orange glowing balls of light (not beams or rays of light) in a perfect line equidistant apart coming towards us in the sky at helicopter height. No sound, moving at a steady quick rate, then the line broke up and the lights moved to a rough circle and hovered a while before flying off to the north. A dozen of us from the pub went outside to witness it for about five minutes. Wierd!!! And no we hadn’t been long enough in the pub to fuddle our brains!

Several people saw these lights at about 10.30pm. We saw them from the Fairfield Pub at Hartburn. We gathered in the car park and watched for several minutes. The bright orange lights seemed to be flying in formation.

My son an I saw these lights too, we live in Hartlepool and as you have said 2 orange circular lights. They travelled northwards slowly climbing and passed through the low clouds.
To be honnest I also saw them with the wife on a friday evening the week before, I thought someone was playing withlanterns or something attached to a helium baloon. since then I have seen them twice. I tryed to video them but all I got was a blury orange light that pulsated a little.

Hi there, I watched a silver disc with a black base in the sky last friday morning 14/8/09 at 650 am , I was on my way to work at Ingleby Barwick , I was trveling on the new road over the A66 from stockton on tees , I watched the object in the sky and decided to stop and have a good Look , It was not a Balloon , Plane nor a Helecopter or a reflection , it looked like a UFO to me and was hovering at highish level over the A66 Darlington direction, When telling a friend at work and even family about this, All seem to laugh . Hi everyone, i had a similar experiance last nite, me and my partner was driving south on the A19 just past the wolviston service when we seen approx 5 really bright orange balls, they were too low and moving too slowly for aircraft, they hovered in a like arch formation whilst slowly drifting west over the fields, unfortunatly i could not get a picture due to there being nowhere to stop, most weirdest thing ive seen.

Last night just after nine pm i was in my back garden in hartlepool when i noticed a really bright orange light travelling above me in the sky, it was moving very slow and i couldn’t hear and motor, as one would expect from a relatively low flying aircraft, surely mife wife and i can’t of been the only ones to see it.

I also saw what i thought was a plane in the sky in hartlepool at 10 pm on 11/9/09 from my garden, no navigation lights or sound just one bright light. I watched it for about three minutes calling for someone from the house to come and see and as my hubby reached the door it just went out. I have never seen anything like this before it was quite unnerving.My kids think it’s quite funny though.

ive seen these on to occasions now the 1st they was 2 travellin together then the a few weeks later i saw 1 each time they came down the coast from hartlepool area the most recent sightin was on a cloudy night so wen the orange light faded away as they all seem to, i could still see its silloette against the cloud it was saucer shaped and still traveling these sightings are common all over england at the moment but ive seen nothing on the news

hi, i was with my friends getting a pizza last night in stockton, near the woodlands pharmacy center, we saw an orange light we recorded it, it dimmed and dissaperaed, my other friends who were on their way to meet us saw it to and also recorded it, we were within about a mile of each other, but we only saw one orb, im scared lol.

i also observed a orage ball of light hovering over hartburn on the same night at about 7.45 as i was walking to a friends house it caught my eye it moved to the right then just Vanished into thin air.

I went into the garden to let my dogs out at roughly nearly 9:00pm. I saw a big burning orange object in the sky. It was an object not a light, reflection etc. It looked quite large and I thought a first it was maybe a huge hot air balloon on fire. It’s the only way I can describe it. It was bright orange in colour.
It looked like it was on fire. It went horizontal across the sky. I went into the house to shout my family.
When I came back out it was going up, right up into the clouds. I gather from this it was moving fast. My daughter watched it go into the clouds. Now I live in Teesside not far from Hartburn and we are on the flight path of Teesside (Durham Tees Valley airport) so I cannot imagine a hot air balloon being in the sky at night.
It was 100% not an aircraft, helicopter nor a light. It was not a chinese lanturn either.

My wife and i have seen this before and we did again on Saturday the 17th again it crossed the sky without a sound it was latish so it was quiet about i tried to record it but couldn’t get video to work on phone…..

Me and my wonderful Husband saw the same in Louth, lincs on Sat 24th. 4 in number flying fast, quiet and uniformed. Looked like burning lanterns, big fat balls.

I have seen them almost every other day many times, but i only see one and it moves fast i cant say what ive seen might be the same thing as last night on bonfire night i saw the same thing but this time i saw somthing come of it and burn up. I have seen it multiple times in oldmixion, conrination and uphill.
I have cancelled the idea of it being aircraft, some protoype ballon, or a buring fire ball. what most of you described is what ive seen. no sound, no change in glow, ballish. anyone got any ideas

i did see another siting 4 day’s ago this time in darlington but i am aware that chinese lanterns were let off on the same day in stocton as part of a primary school event, so could be confusing them.

I admited that 2 ufo’s objects still in stockton area , on Yarm back Ln, A66. You can see them clear in above the clouds 2 brigh objects on fild of left side of the road ,. And other time in NY eve around 11:50 pm i was out to town centre i saw them in sky moving to North tees Hospital derection, orange and light around, very peacful.
We call it them Galactic Federation Of Light.Namaste

Me and my boyfriend seen this orange light across the sky on 27th june 2010 in stockton on tees. we seen it moving across the sky orange and various colour lights can you comment back it happend on sunday night
