Witness Statement: Looked out window, down towards River Dart. Noticed 2 orange lights very close together just above the trees. They moved up along the treeline/hill line to a certain point then seemed to vanish. Only a minute or two later I'd look down the valley again, and they'd be back. Movement like a plane, and yes, the lfashing light, but accuracy of movement ( one of them reversed) a bit odd. My partner, a total sceptic, saw it all aswell. We'd love a rational answer, and be a bit spooked by anything else....
