A bright object at I would estimate at about 100-1500 feet so fairly bright in the sky but not that bit and yeah with a slight orange to it and silent. How odd! We should have the unemployed who stay up late anyway keeping an eye out! i'll lead it! I saw it too and have seen it before. Unfortuneatly as yet I have a problem with tranfering it to my computer as the phone disc does not seem to be loading properly. Will find out soon how it looks though. It appeared from low in the sky, ascended quickly, then shot across the sky at a fast speed. It then slowed down, and gradually got smaller (well further sway) and disappeared completely.
