Weston-Super-Mare-13th June 2009
Location of Sighting: Weston - Super - Mare
Date of Sighting: 13-06-2009
Time: 10.30pm
Witness Name: Ben & Karen
Witness Statement: Their was a group of about 15 bright orange lights almost clustered traveling in the same direction (North to South) at the same speed. further orange lights followed then just as quickly as they appeared the went again. I too went for the Chinese lantern thought but these were far to big and moving too fast considering there was no wind whatsoever! People were coming out of their houses and cars stopping in the middle of the road to watch these unexplainable flying objects it was quite a surreal moment! ! And we got photo's!!!

several nights this week iv been alerted to a noise while iv been in bed.. a noise like a lorry/motorbike/jet.
For example last night i witnessed some kind of aircraft circling the sky. in one quarter the lights on this air craft are white. another quarter green/blue, and the other red.. then it circles again flashing red. on this occasion it was 3am and people were even in the street watching and pointing. The aircraft flew right over my house i could see that it wasnt shaped conventionally. shaped like.. well to only what i can describe as a missile. with two lights.. a bright white one directly on the rear end and a blue/green one slightly further up from it.. This aircraft was clearly metallic as i could see light reflection. This aircraft did not have wings. and was not moving conventionally, for what i can only describe, not moving in a straight line, but diagonally. =/ Has anybody else seen this in the weston village area???

I was just looking on the internet for something related to what i saw with my brother last night (14th August 2009), and this IS IT!
We were going over the railway bridge by Wyvern Close, Weston super Mare, and stopped upon seeing eight bright orange lights over to our right. Four were in a kind of diamond shape, with three in the middle, and one to the bottom right. They made NO sound what so ever, and as some moved away, others dissapeared in a split second, and one of them ‘powered up’ – it brightened up in an odd way.
I have seen some strange stuff in the Weston skys, but nothing like this, and especially nothing on such a cloudy night.
Anyone else see this on the 14th Aug 09???

Friday 12th September at Bleadon Hill Weston-super-Mare about 9:40pm orange glow in the north sky travelling south-west then more at varying intervals. Difficult to judge size/height. My first thought was flares. Observing through binoculars I had the impression there was a canopy above the glow, they looked like a translucent air-balloon with a very bright burner! Perhaps they were flares suspended on a parachute? No sound was heard.

Coming home from work last night about 9.30, saw a HUGE square shaped object in the sky just off the motorway on the way to Worle. Silent with flashing lights in each corner. Watched for ages, just hovered in the same place

october 1.2009. 21:20. The “orange light” syndrome struck again this evening over Locking Moor. Iwas on my way to work, waiting at the traffic lights by the Borough Arms.Suddenly a large bright orange light shot up into the sky over the airfield,at a guess. It seemed to hover for a while then move west. There was no sound.I watched it for a few minutes until it went into the clouds.Another person was watching from his car also.As he turned around to go,he told me that he,d seen this type of thing before over Locking.I was quite amazed at the phenomenom.

Three similar sightings in the Worle Hill area between 21.30 – 22.30 on 31/10/09 and another at 18.00 this evening (1/11/09). However we only saw a singular orange/red light each time, but all sightings were in the same location and travelling in the same direction at low altitude. Basically following the length of the hill from the easterly direction towards the west, but then rearing off to the north over towards Sandbay. We are very used to seeing aircraft and definitely ruled aeroplanes out. Maybe Halloween pumpkin Chinese Lanterns, but if so they all reared off course at the same place. Suspected helicopter too, but ruled this out due to lack of flashing multi coloured lights.

Thank god im not the only one ! me and a friend were in the back garden and a triangle shape craft with 1 orange light in the corner of the front of the craft was very low and was completely silent, later than night we seen a huge orange light with a very bright white centre shooting across the sky at amazing speed, disapeering then reappearing miles away ! they are not chinese lanterns !

Reference Mary & Gary’s entry on 1/11/09 – almost certainly Chinese lanterns that we saw, have since seen others. Many on new yrs eve & some close enough to make out their outline – inc three that drifted into what looked like a large triangular shape (reference Prototype entry 1/11/09).

I moved to the Cliff top on the South Wales coast ten years
ago and took a keen interest in taking pictures of the beautiful views in the channel opposite Western.
One night last November 9th 2009 I saw a bright star much brighter then the rest and took a digital photograph and later zoomed in on it to 200 Shocked I saw a defined 1V shaped brillant light, next day I fell ill and tucked the photo away.
This year I decided to review the photo, zoomed to a masive 200 and saw a define white halo with white dots around it edge.
I wonder could anyone put me in touch with a expert to look at this photo as it seems to be far from the normal orange light’s others have seen.
I stress I am not trained in digital photography just have a keen interest in the beutiful views.
