Last night 18th July approx 11.00pm saw 2 bright orange triangular objects quite low flying in a line over the Cathedral and seemed to be going in the Wroxham direction. Shouted to my wife to look out the door and she saw them too, no noise but travelling quite fast, never seen anything quite like that before. Did anyone else see them? nothing on the local news today.

Hi Me and my husband Steve, were returning home after a night out when we saw 6 orange, glowing spheres travelling southwest to north east direction crossing the M1 motorway junction 16 northampton at 10.10 pm. We stopped the car, turned off the radio and listened, there was no noise whatsoever coming from the spheres. They stayed in vision for approximately 5 mins.

A couple of years ago I saw a very similar thing when putting my car in my lock up in West Earlham. It wasn’t going fast and wasnt very high – as low as a helicopter or lower and it made no noise whatsoever. I watched it for a good few minutes as it travelled in a North direction. Someone said it could have been a message ballon whatever that is – apparently they get released in Norwich every now and then!!

I released 20 Chinese lanterns at my wedding in Thorpe St. Andrew on 11th July 2009. perhaps these are what you saw, as they do go for several miles. People white messages on them for good luck and then let them fly away, the are also 100% biodegradable.
