People white messages on them for good luck and then let them fly away, the are also 100% biodegradable. It wasn't going fast and wasnt very high - as low as a helicopter or lower and it made no noise whatsoever. I watched it for a good few minutes as it travelled in a North direction. Someone said it could have been a message ballon whatever that is - apparently they get released in Norwich every now and then!! We stopped the car, turned off the radio and listened, there was no noise whatsoever coming from the spheres. They stayed in vision for approximately 5 mins.
