Witness Statement: I observed (along with 2 friends) a single object which seemed to be hovering or moving very slowly north of our position (3 miles south of the city centre). The object was a very bright tungsten yellow colour and appeared to be slightly eliptical in shape. On exiting the car, I could clearly see that it was moving west to east fairly slowly. It then seemed to gently climb and head in a north easterly direction. At this point another identical object appered over the tree line to the west and appeared to follow exactly the same flight path.
I accept that it is difficult to judge altitude/size etc, but comparing the objects with surrounding cloud formations, I would say they were quite low (maybe 3000 to 5000 ft) and about the size of a small truck. No definate outline was visible nor any noise. These were very bright objects with a very striking yellow tinge, so I guess there must be many other witnesses.

me and my girlfriend seen exactly the same thing around the same time every thing you seen matches wot we seen i told my friends and i think they thought i was i bit insanse but know i seen this i now for sure i did see it and we was not the onlt ones

On the 23rd of July 2009 at 3.20am i was walking the dog and looked up into the sky and seen a oblong shaped object in the sky, it was bright yellow and had yellow light on the outside which did not flash. It was coming lower down then all of a sudden it flew black up into the cloud never seen anything move so fast, never had time to take a picture as i was so amazed at what i was seen. When i told people they thought i was insane but i no am not the only one that has seen stuff like that.

I saw something quite similar on the 13th August 2009 at about 9 pm. It was definitly not a plane, star or the moon. It was too bright to be a moon. It was a orange-yellow colour and it gradually got bigger as if it was coming towards me.
For one moment i looked away and when i looked back it was gone, just like that.
If it was the moon i’m sure i would of seen it beyond the clouds and it just disappeared.
