UK UFO Sightings

Witness Statement: I went out into the garden thinking that two helicopters were taking off from Filton - where police helicopter is located - as the two lights appeared to be going straight up. They were actualy travelling toward me at speed and gave the impression of rising as I was not expecting this. They were not visible for very long because they were moving at quite a speed across the sky and travelling from west to east. I viewed them passing virtually overhead and neither the light emitted nor their speed diminished. The 'light' was visible as they travelled toward me and reduced as they went away from me. I thought it may be an object burning on re-entry but the speed and distance travelled in such a short time without losing height made me actually wake up my partner and say that although I am not a believer in UFO's, I think that I have witnessed something strange. It was not chinese lanterns - I have seen them many times - and I only witnessed two objects travelling at the same speed, and keeping the same diastance apart and at the same height. There was no engine sound or any other noise emitted from the objects, and it was a quiet and still night. I must admit to being intrigued and have searched the web to see if others sighted anything as nothing was reported in the news. This is the first report that confirms that others saw something also.
