Witness Statement: Whilst driving my truck northbound on the M6 motorway in Cumbria, between junction 38 and 39 (Shap) at 2320 on Monday 10th August 2009, i had the feeling i was being watched and looked to my right, to see what i thought was a very low flying passenger jet flying about 60 to 70 foot above the southbound carriageway. It was flying quite slow. I realised it couldn't be a jet due to speed and location. After about 10 seconds i realised it was a large triangle shaped object with white (non flashing ) lights on each corner and a red light in the middle. It flew alongside me for about 90 seconds before gradually accelerating over the carriageway in front of me (approx NW) toward the cement works . The whole sighting lasted well over 2 minutes. It is the second sighting i have had of this object in just over a year. The first was near Okehampton, on Dartmoor last August..In both sightings the object could not be heard to emit any noise.

Has to be one of the most remarkable sightings on here! Unless the military are testing some incredible aircraft then there seems little explanation as to what this can be! The description of this object turns up repeatedly in sightings from all over the world, including the famous Belgian sighting flap in the 90s.

Hi, I’m on here looking for information as I had 2 sightings on the M6 Northwich-ish 2 nights running. The first one was Saturday May 22nd at around 1.30am me and my wife was driving towards Warrington from Leicester and sighted at what first appeared triangular but then seemed more rectangle as it got closer, it had a strange pattern of red and white lights flashing randomly with two lights at the back and one main one which glowed bright white on top and seemed to have a bulge of somekind underneath and NO WINGS. It darted around from East to West quickly but not at a speed out of the ordinary, made quick turns and then zoomed away this went on for about an hour. The following night Sunday 23rd May 2010 at 11.30pm me and my wife were again driving home from Worcester to Warrington following a similar path and this night we was deliberatley watching the skies this is when a Jumbo Jet sized triangular crafty flew slowly directly over our car, it had no wings and a light at each tip of the triangle, we both saw it and watched it for about 2 minutes as it disappeared into the distance. Both very strange, this is the third time I myself have seen something odd in the sky in this area but feel describing it in context with these sightings might make me sound nuts as it was extremely odd.
