UK UFO Sightings

Witness Statement: Whilst sitting in my son's front room my daughter in law noticed through the window a bright light travelling along in the sky. I looked out and commented that there were no navigation lights that aircraft usually have flashing, and it looked like a big star but was travelling quite fast. We rushed outside to have a better look and it was still travelling down the valley towards us at about 300 to 400 ft above us it was weaving a little as well, and then it stopped midtrack and started to ascend vertically and within a couple of second was totally out of sight, it ascended at warp speed from being momentarily stationary. It was totally silent, no sound emanated from it at all even when it off up into the atmosphere. This was witnessed by my son and daughter in law, myself and my 13 year old granddaughter. Totally awesome experience!PS just after the ufo disappeared a jet flew across the sky, and there were two helicoptors searching the Torrs near our sighting, for most of the night, according to my son and daughter in law. Another factor has arisen in that my granddaughter's mobile phone which was purchased last August, since trying to film the UFO, will not work.
