Witness Statement: On the 21st September 2009 I was out on my bike around 10.15pm at Mudeford Quay Christchurch, when I noticed a large group of bright orange lights travelling from the Southeast towards the Northwest sky at high speed. There were between 20/30 lights heading into the wind's direction, the main body of them were spaced quite evenly, however there were also some lights that were dancing and moving through the group as it went by. These lights that moved through the group were travelling around the main body and it looked as if they were playing with each other. After the main group had passed by, almost immediately I saw another four trailing behind the others. The whole thing lasted around 10/12 seconds. I waited for ten minutes after seeing the lights, but saw nothing. There were people fishing in boats and on the shore, I am sure someone else must have seen this. There was no noise and the altitude of the lights was very high, but it's difficult to give a measurement. This sighting was different from anything else I have currently seen; however I can say it was not lanterns or normal aircraft. My dentist also saw the same type of lights some months before; they seem to be appearing everywhere.

Wednesday 30th September approx 8.30-9ish
Saw 2 bright orange lights in the sky, small distance apart, as if following each other. They were travelling at high speed from west to east above Mudeford quay area. The first one stopped, stayed still for a few secs, then disappeared. Second one slightly behind, stopped in the same spot as the 1st, stayed still for a few seconds then disppeared. There was no noise at all, WAY too fast for aircraft, no flashing lights, as in aircraft, just bright orange. Stayed for few more mins, nothing else seen…
