Witness Statement: From my garden I saw a bright orange light, it was much larger, and without the flashing you would expect from an aeroplane. It appeared in the sky towards north north east of my position and traveled, without sound, towards north north west. I had to move down the drive of my house when i started to loose it behind buildings. From the driveway, i saw it stop dead in the sky, then fade out to nothing. I have seen many things in the sky, from planes to meteors and even the ISS but it wasn’t compareable to anything I have seen before.

I saw 2 Objects like you mention this week and one different kind of one which i will comment on in a new thread.
but I saw one just like yours on sunday morning 26th october 2009 12:20am when I was leaving work from olive grove in sheffield thought it was a fireball at first but realised it was a very bright amber light no sound no flashing. and I saw the same type of ufo again when I left my mums house about 6pm on that same day in Parson Cross sheffield. very strange no noise about 100ft from the ground, and Im pretty good with identifying air traffic with a small airport 2 miles from my house. never seen anything like it. somethings going on defo.. on both occasions object came from the west and headed east towards rotherham. I checked
its path on google maps.. I lost sight of the 1st one due to houses in the way but had a good look at the second one as it passed over a field..
