Grangemouth Docks, Central Region, Scotland-12th November 2009
Location of Sighting: Grangemouth Docks, Central Region, Scotland.
Date of Sighting: 12th November 2009
Time: 1800 approx
Witness Name: Andrew Bryson
Witness Statement: I am a train driver and was driving a freight train out of the docks when the shunter asked me on the radio about something orange. I looked out the window and said the sky always looks orange around here due to the BP oil and chemical refineries. Then he said no, the orange object in the sky. I looked again and seen it. It was moving in the sky, not slow but not fast, from west to east, heading towards the east coast. At first I thought it was a meteor but it was too slow and there was a low cloud base with some rain. Then i thought that maybe it was an aircraft on fire. I am a keen bird watcher and outdoor type. Over the years I have had many opportunities to see UFOs but have never seen any. However last night's observation has left me with no explanations. I am an open minded person and would not jump to conclussions. A good friend of mine has seen two. One near Slamannan, Scotland and one near Rosyth, Scotland. I always felt a bit envious. He is a realist like myself and could not come up with a rational explanation either.

Hi Andrew:-)
Thanks for sharing this with us, again, I love all first reports, especially from people like yourself, realists, since those of us who’ve seen so many, are ridiculed the most.
We sorta get labelled as letting our imaginations run riot, so seeing someone credible like you, realistically sharing this, puts those sceptics down:-)
Can you ask your shunter to put his witness statement in with yours, he can hit the ‘leave a reply’ link, that will make the surfing sceptics think as well. Two credible witnesses, seeing the same UFO, every report helps.
You can bet those debunkers are cruising in and reading, along with serious researchers, and more than likely, the powers that be, plus those at NASA and all those secret units, behind the scenes, who know more than they admit, and who should finally come clean, if enough of us make a statement!
Just keep that train on line, if they close in to have a peek at you one day;-)
They might!
Smiles
JJ:-)

The description sounds like my experience. On 5th December, I noticed an orange glowing sphere in the sky (southwards). Initially I thought it was a clever new firework that was designed to stay still while all around it all sorts of exciting displays were taking place with conventional pyrotechnics. At the same time a plane flew over it so fireworks and aircraft were ruled out. I checked with friends and amazingly one adult saw it and several children from 3 miles away saw it(I’m a teacher). I am a sceptic and always pour scorn over far fetched eye witness accounts about alien activity. Can anybody explain what I saw?
