M8 Harthill, Scotland-14th November 2009
Location of Sighting: M8 Harthill
Date of Sighting: 14th november 2009
Time: 6:25pm approx
Witness Name: Stuart Potter
Witness Statement: Driving along m8 east bound, to the left was quite large object not really low but not as high as a plane or helicopter would be. IT was a yellow/orange VERY bright light that was hurting my eyes. As the road became more in line with this object i got to look at it clearer for about 4 seconds before the light disapeared instantly. Once the light disapeared there were now two lights at either side with smaller lights between flashing quickly. As i drove by it an then looked in my mirror to see it as i had a clear look at the sky because i was going downhill now ,it was no where to be seen in the sky. I am annoyed that i never pulled over to take pictures so i was wondering if anyone else seen it?? It is very similar to Sean Sitt sighting on the same night 3 hours later at DUmfries and Galloway

Same description as stuart potter. not a million miles away. few days later than his sighting. Similar craft, same behaviour, in daylight. witnesses:hundreds!
DIRECTLY above busy M9 falkirk, at polmont junction/turnoff.
time:06:55-07:05
Many commuters headed towards it and passed under it on their way to work.
I was going east to west, but it is not relevent, IT WAS RIGHT ABOVE the M9. No more than 200ft max. Approaching it had the appearance of a small plane coming into land with 2 very bright searchlights on left and right sides with flashing light directly below in the centre. As i drove under it it became clear the “craft” was not distant but close and very, very, stationary (the steadiness having giving the impression of distance previously). I could not hear any helicopter noise (it was very low 150ft-200ft). I was looking away every few seconds to drive, and it simply disappeared. Watched it for about 3 mins total as i passed below it, don’t know how long it was there before i drove by. It was obvious and stationery, then 2 seconds later it was nowhere. There was nothing in the area for the craft to move behind out of view quickly. It was in open sky and visibility was good.
I can add there was a dark coloured grey craft behind the bright lights, possibly triangle, but don’t know. The lights were strong and downwards so no matter from which angle you couldn’t see clearly what was behind them. hope someone got pics.
