Witness Statement: I looked out of the lounge window and noticed a red/ orange light in the sky. It was a fairly clear cold night with a light haze. I went to the front door to have another look, the glow was still there. I remembered that I had binoculars in a cupboard at the front door.When I used them I could not believe what I saw. It was a saucer shaped object with coloured lights on the underside. There was no noise from it and it looked big. I called my wife to look with the binoculars and she saw the same as me until it disappeared over the roof. We ran to the back of the house but it had gone. We both saw it through the binoculars for about 5 seconds. I checked the Internet on Boxing day to see if there were any other sightings. Thats when I decided to report this sighting.

Hi there. My partner and I both saw something that sounded very similar to this on december the 25th around 9pm! was very strange and ive never seen anything like it before. the way it moved was extremely strange! We arein Edinburgh but there were also reports from Dundee. Someone said that the lights may have been chinese lanterns but did not look like that to me!
