Brentwood, Essex-25th December 2009
Location of Sighting: Brentwood, Essex
Date of Sighting: 25th December 2009
Time: 20.50 - 21.00
Witness Name: Jan
Witness Statement: My husband and I both saw some bright red lights in the sky from our lounge window. We immediately ran outside and saw that there were a total of 5 of these bright red objects, travelling in a straight line, but quite a way apart from each other. They all followed the exact same flight path, from South to North, then each one turned East at the same spot . What amazed us was the fact that there was no noise at all. It was a very clear night and we had perfect vision. It was difficult to tell how high they were or what size but they appeared to the naked eye as bright red and round but with a short tail. I managed to take a digital phot of two of them . I blew up the photo's and the objects when magnified have a distinct < shape . Like a V on its side. They could not have been helicopters, aircraft or lanterns, but we have no idea what they were. Did anyone else see these 5 objects. We wouild be very interested to know if anyone has any idea what they could be. It was a very strange sight. So glad I got a clear picture of 2 of them, the other 3 were out of sight by the time I got my camera.

This ties in with my sighting from bexleyheath which I posted yesterday, the time was 20:57 as I managed to get a photo of the last object and thats the time on the shot, if I magnify the image it shows as two distinct heat sources in the shape of a bath.

Hi Jan,
I’m an amateur Ufologist and I’m trying to collate all the data for the mass sighting over the Christmas period. Would it be possible for you to Send me copies of the pictures you took of the craft?
I will be posting the information I collect on various websites and I would send you links to all these so you may check what is posted. Of course you would retain all copywrights to your material and I will credit you on any posts I make.
my email is sirbadgersufos@yahoo.com.
Many thanks for your time.

Hi Jan
We also saw something very similar on 25 Dec at about 1030pm. My husband looked out of the bedroom window & saw 4 red circular lights travelling from east to west which then turned towards the north as they drew level with our house. He called me upstairs & as I also looked out 2 more lights appeared, one behind the other & took the same direction as the others. After a short time they seemed to get bigger as though they were coming back & then turned away again & disappeared. We live on the Shrub End estate in Colchester & haven’t seen these lights before. There was no sound & the light was constant, not flashing or flickering.

Thanks for your replies. The more we think about it, the stranger it gets. I did get that good photo which when blown up clearly shows the last 2 of the objects. I just looked at it again and they look sort of Y shape. A type of Y sideways on. The whole object glows red.
I’m pleased that you also saw them Roland and Diane. Why when so many people are seeing and reporting these things does no-one give us any answers as to what they are.Or is it just that no-one knows. The fact that there was no sound whatsoever was so weird. What was powering these objects? The flight paths were so controlled and steady that there is no way they could be these ‘lanterns’ that people talk about. I did send my photo to this site but it doesn’t seem to have been published on here yet.If anyone else saw these or similar please add your comments. Matt I will e-mail you soon, would love to hear your thoughts on what they could be.

I sent pictures to this site but haven’t seen them published. My photos are on the disclosetv website.I will try re-sending them to this. I have further photos as we saw another one on Feb 14th. Just one this time, but looked the same as the other 5, but travelling West to East this time, around 10.45 pm. I got 3 clear photos, which when cropped show a similar shape to the previous sighting. Not quite as defined as I couldn’t get the zoom working this time, was too excited. No noise again, much too big for a lantern. Did anyone else see this ? We can’t work out what they are, any ideas ?
