Hi Tam
See http://www.uk-ufo.co.uk/category/uk-ufo-sightings/scottish-borders/
I seen similar two weeks ago over Gala – I managed to take some pics (my sighting is listed at above weblink to this site) – I also seen another Orange light in Glasgow on Sunday there, same as I seen over Gala.

Between 00:14 and 00:15 I witnessed and photographed 3 orange ‘shapes’ appear in the sky to the north of Hawick. Two came up together but unlike fireworks, did not explode and kept climbing. Then a third light climbed immediately from the horizon. following the first two. There was no jet noise, and they climbed in a straight trajectory. The two shapes look like orbs in one photo, and in others all three look like jet flame.

I seen another Orange light/glow coming over the hills from Selkirk again last night, heading to Gala, then faded out.
That’s 3 in two weeks ! one on the 10th Dec Gala (which has been listed on this site under The Scottish Borders), one on Boxing Day in Glasgow, then last night’s !
Plus I have around 40 odd photo’s with metallic (disc) objects in the sky, taken up at The Eildons, Buckholm Hill/Buckholm in Gala, River Tweed at Melrose, Kelso, Kirk Yethom, Roxburgh, Dryburgh…
Keep yer eye’s peeled
PS: If you have pics, email them into this site
