UK UFO Sightings

Location of Sighting: Nuneaton, Warwickshire
Date of Sighting: 25/12/09
Time: Between 9:30pm & 10:00pm

Witness Statement: Two round orange glowing light traversed the sky in a south to north direction at the same hieght and kept the exact same distance between them with no hieght deviation. Traveling at a steady pace, they went out of visual range. A couple of minutes later a formation of 4 of the exact same type lights followed in the exact same direction, hight, speed and heading in a straight line one behind the other, with the exact same distance between them. These four lights then began to change formation very smoothly with exact precision into a perfect diamond shape, with eaqual spacing between the four, and then also carried along the same track untill out of sight. If this was not enough, to my amazement a final light followed, on the exact same trajectory, hieght and speed as the others. This final light however, seemed to be a little larger and the glowing orange aura around it larger than the previous six lights. My wife and both my children also witnessed this phenomena.
I am also ex-military and have worked at and around aiports for many years, and can catagrically say that these lights were not aircraft. Totally silent, no anti collision beacons and no port, starboard indicator lights and not tracking a normal flight path that most comercial aircraft do around this area.
On the whole, I can not explain what it was my family and I witnessed, so can only put down as unexplained.
