UK UFO Sightings

Witness Statement: i saw something interesting tonight and wondered if anyone had heard anything.
i was returning home from a visit to my mum in southport tonight with my boyfriend and to kids in the back of the car. we were on derby road at 7pm, it was cloudy and had been drizzling on and off since we left southport. we'd just gone past millers bridge (i think!), when i noticed a bright orange light in the sky, i thought it was a street light but realized it was too high, it was in the clouds. but it was incredibly bright, my boyfriend opened his window to have a better look so i could watch the road. i then heard a "whoooah" from my boyfriend, he said the light had, for a split second gone even brighter and lit up the clouds around it then just dimmed suddenly. i could see a very dim light ,just alittle dot, my boyfriend said it "lit up the clouds around it, like a corona" then disappeared into the clouds. Has anyone else noticed anything? we saw it at 7pm precisley.
