Ely, Cambridgeshire-9th February 2010
Location of Sighting: Ely, Cambridgeshire
Date of Sighting: 9/2/2010
Time: 21:45
Witness Name: James
Witness Statement: Went outside to feed our rabbit at 9:45pm, looked up as it was a clear night with a few clouds on the western horizon. Spotted a fuzzy "pulsating" orange glowing ball of light about 70 degrees above the horizon moving across the sky from east to west, lasting about 20 - 30 seconds the object moved slowly at first while almost directly above then suddenly increased speed and made a few adjustments like zig zagging, wobbling motion and then dissappeared across the horizon into clouds on the western horizon at impossible speeds.
Couldn't really work out how high it was up as I had no point of reference other than it dissappeared into clouds on the western horizon.

i saw exactly the same thing at approx 7.30pm whilst working late @ brook road ind estate, rayleigh, essex. it came overhead in a southerly direction. it was very bright like a ball of fire and dissapeared into a dot very quickly. i was not the only witness to this,a gentleman from a neighbouring unit stood with me and watched it.unexplainable?.

Hi James, I also have seen this…entry below
Location of Sighting: Yate, Bristol
Date of Sighting: 1st Feb 2010
Time: 6.30 ish
Witness Name: Debs Turner & David Packham
Witness Statement: On our usual dog walk scanning the skies when we both saw an amber light over head.
I said it was the ISS as it was the same size and brightness, but as we watched it, it appeared to have a wobble and would make small jerks left or right. There was discussion seeing as it was so cold whether our eyes were playing tricks on us. It eventually faded just like the ISS does.
This morning I have checked the ISS times and it is not visible over Bristol until the 3rd of Feb, so it can’t have been that.
I also saw it on the 9th Feb at approx 7pm. It travelled east to west and did the wobble before it faded.
I looked for it last night as I suspect it may be a satellite and the wobble may be due to a distortion in the earths atmosphere, but I either missed it or it wasn’t visible.
