Witness Statement: I was outside having a cheeky bedtime cigarette under the beautiful, bright moonlight … after about 5 mins or so I noticed a strange boomerang shaped ufo glide across the sky at considerable speed. The object was fairly large in size and traveled at a fairly low altitude. I can recall seeing 4 circular shaped white lights spread across the rear of the object. There was also a 5th red light in the center, but this was rectangular shaped and sported a kind of grid like pattern. The object pretty much traveled over the top of my house from the coast and although many people will probably laugh and dismiss my experience, I would like to stress that I did not imagine this. After doing some research I now understand boomerang ufo sightings are widely documented by people all over the world and don’t appear to be all that uncommon. My sighting was pretty similar to an object in a video I found on you tube this morning, “Boomerang UFO Virginia”. Although I’m open minded about many things, the whole experience tripped me out a little bit and I was quite scared at one point… I can remember stubbing out my smoke and seeking refuge in my kitchen as it passed my house, although I plucked the courage to step back outside and watch it fly off into the distance shortly afterward. I’d love to hear about any similar experiences, or other information you guys may have.

If these are top secret military craft, as some imagine, then we have to ask why they are flying without standard regulation aviation lights, why they are being flown with regularity over civilian areas, and why no government or military has admitted their existence over the past 20 years or so that they have been seen. On the other hand, it might make more sense to suppose that they are not ours, and that they originate from another world.

Hi Jordan I live close to heathrow airport and last year march during a thunder and lightning storm I saw from my back garden what I can only discribe as 3 disc shaped craft that seemed to be following the lightning as it struck I can honestly say I saw what seemed to be people in it as it came out of the clouds . The next day again I was in my garden when I saw a orb that made a whooshing sound as it came out of a cloud and it left a hole were it had been .there seems to be a lot of sightings when there is a full moon , the truth is out there .

Out of ear shot so presumably 20,000 ft plus as you mention no sound this to my mind determins very little ,boomerang shape is very areoplane catorgory ,still an odd experence for you,may motivate you to keep looking out, as most take sky granted and dont bother ,all the best.

Memo, you have to admit you do have vivid and wild inmagintion, full moon that gets peoples attention looking up in the right direction, may be attracts other beings a nemo,cut down on the ufo TV.

Just come from running on the seafront an saw a boomerang shaped object fly at low altitude above me. It was travelling at about 75- 100 miles per hour in silence. Looked at first like a flock of brown geese against the dark sky so hard to see. At first thought they were geese but were trallening too fast and it was silent. Size about 30 ft wide estimate. No idea what it was just interesting someone else saw something similar. No lights to be seen.

T Wood – watch the footage of the Virginia sighting; it’s a B2.It’s even showing the correct red and green port and starboard lights, for heavens sake!

T., have you actually seen the footage? It is almost definitely a B2 Spirit with a full set of navigation lights. Why am I not surprised by your fatuous comment?

Hi Jordan
I have logged several boomerang type craft here – search on East Dulwich on this site.
I have viewed them mostly at a distance, once through binoculars, and one was incredibly vivid – either close or huge – I could not tell. It was very clear and it cloaked after a few seconds. I was quite shaken.
There seems to be a ‘family’ or type that is based on a black body with lights along the length of the object. They are often boomerang shape but the best sighting I had was a V shape with one ‘arm’ shorter than the other ie it was not symmetrical. Another similar object I saw here was two parallel strands and each strand had two lights.
Only one of the boomerang objects also had a pulsing light in teh centre.
They were all silent as far as I could tell – South London is amazingly noisy from traffic and aircraft noise and the rest.
I try to keep an open mind about the nature of these things. The ones I have seen are moving at great speed in tightly controlled airspace and are not following the ATC flight paths. Usually they fly fast in a single direction. One shot through the air with a skittering motion. I saw a group of four, line abreast, heading towards Heathrow airport on one occasion – there was lateral movement between them as they flew away from me.
Not only are these not aircraft in any conventional sense but they are ‘loose and maverick’ in civilian airspace. The feeling on seeing these things is an uncanny chill. I was taken with the silky and apparently effortless way they move – so smooth and slick – I had no sense of any weight, or engines driving them.
I am always on the lookout for ‘boomerang’ reports – thanks for yours and keep on looking up. After seeing my first one I was encouraged to devote time looking and have been rewarded. I am now investing in surveillance materials to try and get photographic records.
Do not be undermined by all these knowing people who make patronising remarks when you tell them about a sighting but who actually do not spend hundreds of hours a year sky watching. They feel qualified to sneer based on an over confident belief in their ‘own’ world view – based on received knowledge and not on experience. People who fear ridicule seek to find others to ridicule.

This is well over 20 years in flying also look up Belgium UFO incident.
What is the real question is not If these things exist its what powers them.
Because if what they state about free energy is true and they release this on the world.
You will get population boom.
And you will get a new energy based weapon for all world dominating leaders.
And the yanks have that market cornered.

Gary I do see birds flying on the seafront at night all the time I’m not claiming I saw a space ship but I’m certain I didn’t see a v shape formation of birds. Not very constructive comment perhaps there are things you don’t know. But I doubt your the sort of guy that thinks that Grow up mate

I’m interested by the concept of “cloaking”. Is it not possible that the same effect would be caused by an object going behind a cloud?
Ali, what exactly do you think you saw if it wasn’t a formation of birds or a spaceship?
And Phill, the fact remains that Jordan drew attention to a youtube video which quite clearly depicts an earthbound aircraft, despite your protestations.

Hi guys …. thanks for showing an interest in my sighting. Ali, cheers for letting me know you observed something similar too, knowing this has helped me when nothing more but nonconstructive ‘witty’ insults or extreme doubt has been jammed down my neck for simply sharing this experience with others. Phill, thanks for sharing your experience on this, I should probably highlight that the object I encountered was more like a V to be honest, as it was not rounded in appearance but kind of sharp looking. I should also mention that the Virgina sighting video displays an object that is in some ways similar, but nevertheless pretty different to the boomerang thing I encountered on the 26th. Additionally, I am not entirely convinced this object was a B2 and although many others around me have drawn similar conclusions, I believe it was thicker, scarier and meaner than any image of a B2 I’ve come across. Perhaps something similar but not it. I really don’t think it the UFO I encountered was asymmetrical either, although I could be wrong. I know what you mean about how weightlessness and silkiness of these things though, and value your last section so no need to apologise. I think it is also important to understand the historical, socio-cultural, and political prevalence right? I mean the whole UFO – Alien association is propagated in mainstream media, particularly America, on a daily basis and has been for years. A friend of mine believes it would be difficult to quantify whether UFO sightings have become more frequent in recent times, although I would argue that based on everything I’ve seen they are. I am from Suffolk, UK, where UFO sightings and/or any other anomalous stuff allegedly occurs on a regular basis. Lol, this is not my first UFO sighting and I’m already aware of some existing and highly contested debates/theories/issues within this community. I am also aware of ever increasing UFO symbology in mainstream media and popular culture, such as the 2012 olympic games. By all means debunk other people, but not in a way that deliberately spites them. This behavior is kind of fascist, an interesting word. Does anyone else get where this section is headed.

Could you elaborate? Where was the UFO ‘symbology’ in the Olympic Games, for a start, and what other areas of the mainstream media are you referring to?
