Witness Statement: Tonight when I was walking back from the shop on Golden Gates, I saw 12 bright red/orange oblong lights (shapped like bommerangs) travelling in the sky from above Towyn towards the windmills in the sea around Rhyl. These big red/orange long objects were travelling in straight lines towards a bright white light above the ocean. The lights were travelling in perfect straight lines at high speed. When they reached the white light they just disappeared into the light.

I was not the only one to see these lights, children also outside the shop saw these lights, I ran back to our van and alerted the people I was with and they witnessed them. Also, other people in various caravans were watching these objects.

As I said they were shaped like boomerangs or planes without wings

Witness Statement: I was outside our house at 10.15. on above date. An 'orange' glowing object ,in relative size,about 1 metre round,passed directly over our house.Being a private pilot,I would estimate it being about 1500ft up,just below misty cloud base,direction of travel was from West to East,travelling approx 80 to 100 mph. The thing that facinated me most was its flight path was dead steady with NO noise what so ever.It disappeared into the cloud base at the back of our house,that is at' The View' hills . Just hoping there were more sightings ?? Cheers

Witness Statement: i was in the garden when i noticed red lights hovering in the sky..at first i thought it was a police helicopter but soon realised it wasnt due to the fact their was no sound..it seemed to be very close hovering for about 20secs before shooting of into the sky very quickly..i managed to film the part of it shooting of on my phone,but the qaulity is poor due to the dark and the poor qaulity of my camera on my phone..

Witness Statement: just went to the beach to look up at the stars whilst watching low clouds pass quickly. i always go there to do this ... but at about 00.42 a bright light shot across the sky but rising all the time as if it was leaving the atmosphere it didnt even get to 90 degrees from my vision i was sat on the beach and it apeared from my right hand but didnt go across the sky so space station wasnt a possibility and it was white and far to quick to be a lantern any one else seen the same please comment so i know im not going lala thanks
also would like to add i was on abergele and pensarn beach and it appeared from the rhyl area and was going in an upward motion thanks.

Witness Statement: Going into the garden I looked to the right (northwards) and saw a cluster of bright white lights low in the sky. This would be over the sea above an offshore wind farm - although I am not suggesting a connection. They were perfectly stationary for about 3 -4 minutes and then went away from me in the same formation until I lost sight of them in low clouds.
I reported the sighting to the North Wales Police Information desk and to a reporter on the Rhyl Journal who promised to put the sighting on their website (it wasn't there when I last looked).

Witness Statement: We were driving on the Marine Drive road which straddles the Gt. Orme headland. We turned off to drive towards the summit of the Orme along a steep hill. Emma Thompson, who was seated in the passenger seat of the car noticed an object in the sky, looking like a dark coloured pole high in the sky, it looked to be a few hundred feet away from the road. It remained absolutely still, suspended in the air. I stopped the car and got out. Emma took her camera from her handbag and I managed to take several similar photos of the object.

We turned the car to drive to another vantage point further along Marine Drive, but the object had disappeared by the time we got there.

The object was very clear to the naked eye, but does not show up as clearly in the photographs.

Please find attached two images of the object as mentioned in my sighting submission to the website. The first image is the best one I got of the object, and the second is a close up of one portion of the frame which better identifies the object itself.

The object was very clear against the dusk sky, but did not transfer well to the standard digital camera we had in the car at the time of the sighting.

Witness Statement: I was walking home from a WI meeting and as I entered our drive I saw a bright orange ball (almost exactly the same colour and brightness as a sodium street light) and about the apparent size of a tennis ball in the sky above the house. The area is very quiet but there was no sound from an engine/blades. The ball of light moved slowly across the property in a south-westerly direction. I called to a friend babysitting inside the house and he also saw the object, which vanished as it went overhead - I presume the light was directed forward, from the object's point of view. Definitely not a Chinese lantern, far too bright.

Witness Statement: Walking on the Great Orme Llandudno last night (06.03.10) at exactly 2100hrs I saw 2 orange lights low in the sky to the south, moving towards me.The lights were almost the same orange as sodium steet lights and seemed to pulse slightly. One was slightly behind the other and as they passed almost directly overhead of me, the lights disappeared.There was no noise at all.As they were approaching, I phoned a friend who lives on the Orme and she saw them from her back garden.A few seconds after the first pair had passed, a second pair appeared on the southern horizon, in exactly the same formation and on the same heading. Before this pair got to me, the rearmost one vanished but the front one passed directly overhaed and I was able to make out a vauge shape. Again no noise at all.It was a clear starlit night with very little wind. This is an area with a lot of commercial air traffic about and I saw and heard lots of planes about but these were nothing like them. Their course was south to north and what litte wind there was came from the east.

Witness Statement: had just popped round to my friends tracey and keiths and had been there about 15mins wen her partner keith said wot is that we looked out and initially saw wot looked like 2 fireballs coming over as low as wot ud see a helicopter and probably lower than1 and travelling at quite a speed, we ran out then another 1 came over followed by another 2 about 30 seconds later, after they passed overhead they seemed to just dissapear,keith has got it videoed on his fone and i can tell you that this woz definatley no chinese lantern but sumthing that looked like fireballs ( u could actually see the flames)

Witness Statement: I was travelling home to Betws y Coed along A5. Approaching Capel Curig I saw a reddish light to my right, and as I got closer saw it was rising slowly. I went to a car park and got out of the car, the light kept rising slowly and with no noise. I then noticed two mor lights to my left, quite bright, orange and red. Both rose slowly and again quietly. They kept rising and eventually disappeared through the clouds.

Witness Statement:I'm reporting this on behalf of my mother and sister, who, from an Abergele road residence, witnessed 32 separate UFOs during an approximately 40 minute period in the early morning between 0745 and 0845.

Each one appeared as a small light in the sky, some were red, others green and travelling at different heights. Some came by in small groups, others singularly; some left small vapour trials. Most bizarre were the occasional flashes or beams of similar coloured light which were aimed directly below them to the ground. At first my sister though the were shooting stars, but it soon became apparent that the manner of the light appeared far too controlled and precise, it was straight.

They were travelling in the same direction, from the hinterland towards the sea, a couple were seen to stop, and travel upwards for a moment.

Witness Statement : it was over colwyn bay 2.30 on 26/12/08, it was only about 250mtr’s up, stayed in 1 place for 30 sec then headed over the sea, a helicopter turned up 15 sec later heading the same way.it was a bright orange light,and silent.
