Witness Statement: this is the 3rd time I have seen this orange 'light'. This time it came straight towards our house. Appears to be diamond shaped, and bigger than an aircraft light! This time the top half of the diamond was sweeping left and right like a searchlight. Suddenly veered off at a great speed and I lost sight of it.

Witness Statement: was outside the front of the house with my son having a cigerette and talking then we noticed this extremely bright white light come from behind some house not far to the left of us .now what ever this was was too low for a plane at night it was about 400-500 feet off the ground and the light off it was the same as a police helicopter search light .as it came across the house it moved quite swifly but at good speed was no noice from this object nothing just a bright white light that basically light the area under it it only lasted about a min or two but it was weird as i travelled over the houses and road next thing the light dimmed very faintly and just dissappeared i didnt get a chance to catch a photo but i think a couple of neighbours might of i hope .quite a few people witnessed this object that night and i would like to know if anyone give me a clue what it is or what it was or if anyone from the puddletown area also seen this and could comment on this .next couple of days i was speaking to a neighbour who actually heard people the next day commenting about this object that night before and one person actually called the police becuase they wernt sure what it was ..its just really strange and to be honest i have seen anything like this ever...also the weirdest thing is that just after the object dissapeared loads of dogs from all over different houses just started barking for about 3 mins ..it was really strange but quite worrying at the same time of what this object was ..

Witness Statement: I've seen this now 3 times in the past few months -Orange ball of light traveling a speed at about the avarage height (of Flight) for a helicopter and possibly about the same size though its hard to tell.
This is not a chinese lantern as was suggested.

Witness Statement: My self and two friends drove down a track to have a laugh and joke. While pranking about I seen a light flash across the sky, stop abruptly high up and then fall to earth.
I then saw a craft flashing red and blue lights. With several white coloured glowing orbs.
The orbs where around the size of a mini car and where several feet away frm the craft to the left hand side.
I spoke to My friend and in a feared up voice explained what I could see.
They looked and were quite afraid, I wanted to get out and see what was what. Yet My friend Dave paniced, while chris was scared stiff.
Dave started his car and drove like crazy.
And I seen the craft rise up and the orbs followed.
I mentioned whatever it was had followed us so Dave quickened the pace . . . I remember seeing like a craft change shape into like a triangle and chase us.
Weird things happened after this event?
Dave now denys all that took place while chris refuses to speak of the matter.
. . . . All I can say is it really happened.

Witness Statement: I was looking out the window and looking at what I thought were Aeroplanes in the sky. But, as I studied them, they seemed way to close to be flying like normal planes. Some of them appeared to just hover, standing still in the sky. As the light began to fade, they moved over to the north when suddenly they changed from flashing to a golden white colour and moved very fast around the sky. They then went back to flashing and all went to different heights. I noticed one coming in very low near the front of my house, and I ran outside to see it. It was only about 400-500ft above the ground, and made a loud, low and rumbling humming sound. As it came over the top of me, I saw that it was diamond shaped, with one corner cut off (there were bright search lights on this bit) I continued watching them until they moved further away towards Gatwick Airport and South Lonon, before completley dissapeering. I counted nearly 12 of these onjects, and I'm pretty sure that they're UFO's. Comment if you saw similar objects at a similar time.

Witness Statement: from the garden facing south east we watched an elongated silver and turquoise object travelling west, there was a lot of movement to it. I took several photos. Turning round we could see a bright light very high above us,it was almost stationary and appearedto flash, we sat down to observe the object while taking photos.The whole thing lasted about fifteen minutes. What a surprise when they were put in the computer!
The elongated object had changed shape, now a purple colour but with a structured silver craft within it.Sharp edges can be seen with three tiers. In the next shot the silver craft has come away from the object and is now some distance away in a horizontal postion, the three tiers can clearly be seen. Below these two objects is a silver shpere in very ligh cloud.

The bright object directly above has structure to also and seems to have length to it and possibly a bumb bell shape.

We have seen many objects from our garden, June 2009 a similar bright light was over the garden at 1.30 in the afternoon for about twenty mins. It returned that evening when we filmed it right over the house. There too many to report here. We have regular meetings here for experiencers . The next one is on the 9th oct . I would be pleased to chat to any one with a serious interest in the subject.

Witness Statement: Lying in bed through the skylight window a very bright fluorescent green disc about size of tennis ball hovering for a couple of seconds with the sky around lit up. Thedisc then move very fast across the window leaving a wide white vapour trail and either side ripples of red and green fluorescent light .

Witness Statement: Was in my truck travelling south to Manchester just past jct 35 on the M6 when i saw what can only be described as a glowing "snake" like object. It was nice & clear to the East but very dark over the Blackpool area & raining quite heavy on the coast. I was driving just under the edge of the storm & while the clouds were very low & heavy there was no rain at 15:10 when i saw the object. I was just looking ahead driving at 55 mph when i noticed a bright white flash. I immediately looked up & saw this thing, glowing & sort of crackling literally drop out from the cloud, coil up then shoot directly over me at ridiculous speed. The whole thing lasted no longer than 2 seconds but really freaked me out & for the rest of the journey back i was a bit dumbstruck tbh. I've seen & filmed other ufo's in the past year or so locally but this thing was more animal than the bright round objects i usually see. One of my mates suggested it might have been a small bolt of lightining shooting through the cloud but it was the way it seemed to drop out & pause before shooting off that makes me think otherwise...just didn't look right at all.

Witness Statement: i was out walking my dog and looked up towards the moors at the top of shortbank rd and saw a huge object fly from behind the hill,i thought maybe it was a aircraft but it was completely silent.it flew off in the direction of ilkley or maybe towards the menwith hill area,could it of maybe been a stealth bomber or some other top secret aircraft,can anybody shed some light on this for me.did anybody else see it.

Witness Statement: Approx 12 - 2.45 am (night) had power cut ,my home and surrounding area. I was in bed . Opened my curtains. It was very dark everywhere. Looking out of my window from my bed , I thought how strange I haven' t seen that block of flats( at a far distance ) peeping above opposite chimney before, and how strange that they are the only building to have lights on outside, 4 floors of orangey lights! I stood up, strange , how comes the floor below don t have lights ! something seemed odd .In bed I was looking at those lights( tossing and turning a few times in bed ) for over 1 3/4 hours approx.and waiting for power cut to end .At 2.15am approx. suddenly without any sound the lights that I was watching suddenly started moving left, not very fast, lights became bright and as it flew left, I could see more lights coming from the side of aircraft . the front looked like 4 floors of lights and side 2 floors of lights ( looked like very large square windows with lights on inside ) Then I could just make out a saucer-like shape at the back and side, and a dome like shape on top back ,dark colour possibly black . it then disappeared, I could no longer see it . Power cut ended approx 25 mins later ! Please did anyone else see it ? a UFO ? My God, I now believe !

Witness Statement: A large round white light moveing west over the swansea valley. there where two police chopper's in the sky at the time they seem to be following it. the light then when't up into the sky and it was gone. all this lasted around 15 min's.

Witness Statement: being new to bristol whilst washing up I was staring our of the window and seeing this object miles away I thought this must be where the airport is.All i know is the town centre and the childrens hospital and temple meads.It was the colour and i thought of the sun reflecting off it and i watched as it approached kingsdown and thought thats a weird helicopter so i went into back gardenand it was hovering silently for about 15 minutes several hundred feet up over the centre of bristol. 2 orange balls almost as 1 with red lights underneath and bigger than any helicopter plane balloon or lantern and i know my chinooks anyway this was silent against a clear sky light not quite dusk. wished i stayed to watch it leave but 3 year old kicked off upstairs. thought most of bristol must have seen it. it seems the locals think everything is a lantern. thats not a criticism as they say they get a lot around here and it causes fires so its part of the sky if you like. 25 mins experience

Witness Statement: This is a first for me and if I am honest I am somewhat of a sceptic though not a total non-believer. I would never dismiss the idea of life in other solar systems. To do that would be ignorant and arrogant in my book. That said, I had my first experience in what may be a UFO last night. I am leaning toward it being a shooting star but a few things are convincing me that it may be something else. I was working outside at about 3:30 am when something in the sky caught my eye. At first I thought it was a firecracker (sky rocket) because it looked like one and was travelling at that pace albeit in a straight line and not straight up. It was travelling but it wasn’t going that fast - certainly not 100,000 mph … and it wasn’t very high in the sky either. It was just a bright almost oval type shape light with a reddish and blue tinge above it and a reddish tail. As I was watching it, it appeared to completely stop for a few seconds, kind of like a mid-air pause, then just took off with a speed that would be unknown and unmatched by man. It left no trail, no tail, no reddish light, no nothing. It just took off into the darkness and was gone in a millimetre of a second. Was this a shooting star or something else? I have never seen a shooting star and I am not sure if they pause and take off again. Can anyone out there explain to me what I actually saw. I would be very grateful. Thanks, Charlie.

Witness Statement: We were chatting in the garden when we looked up and saw a bright star moving from West-East across the sky. The star was bright and twinkly just like the other stars you see at night but this was in our hemisphere. It was moving a little faster that an aeroplane for about 5mins then completely disappeared. It was moving too slow to be a shooting star and had no other lights to be an aeroplane. Very strange. Possible UFO.

Witness Statement: I was living in Totterdown at the time. The views were stunning where i lived. i could see the Clifton Suspension bridge, Ashton Court , Leigh Woods, as wel as the city. This particular afternoon I was looking out my window to admire this lovely view of bristol, when I observed what I thouth was a kite flying over Ashton Court. It was black and looked triangular. However, I soon realised I was wrong when the object started moving across the sky towards the city. The way it moved was strange. It did indeed move like a kite. In ever increasing circles. I saw it move in and out of a huge cloud, possibly a cumulus. This cloud was miles away. It must've been over the Severn Estuary. The black triangle moved from west to east and covered so much distance it just couldn't be a kite flying over Ashton Court! It wasn't flying very fast but the distance it covered as I watched it was vast. I wish I hadn't been alone when i saw it and was hoping perhaps someone out there saw what i saw too. please let me know.

Witness Statement: My husband and daughter had picked me up from work on this night, and when driving over plympton fly over we noticed a bright star, but as we drove towards this star it got bigger and just seemed to hover in the sky. when we came even closer it seemed to then travel over the dear park area, we were all really interested but a bit frightened at the time. again it was to low for an aircraft, and much to big for anything else, we then seemed to travel under it, and i managed to look at it, but as it was so dark i couldnt quite make it out, but it had 3 large lights and then 3 smaller ones in between them. the body of the object seemed to be triangle, we slowed the car down for me to try and work it out, but was traveling on motor way so decided to come off next junction and drive back to get a better look, by the time we had done that, and it only took 2 mins probably, it had completely disappeared!! it was nothing i had seen before, it was a strange movement for anything i know off! but it was dark, and we watch the skies every night now! id like to think i was lucky enough experiance a ufo! you just dont know?!

Witness Statement: Oh my goodness, yes, yes, yes!! My daughter and I saw an object in the sky last night. Not sure what it was – it flew from South to North over Barry on Sunday night 5th September 2010. The whole of the object was glowed white then glowed red then back to white again – not at all like an aeroplane (no sound either and we went outside to watch it) – the glowing was a bit like a fibre optic light changing colour – weird. From my living room window (my house is half way up Trinity Hill and we can see across the channel) I see flights arriving and taking off from Rhoose airport – landing from East to West and taking off from West going East – this definitely wasn’t anything from Rhoose (Cardiff Wales) Airport. Our family think we’ve gone a bit mad, but I am a very sane person and am not at all sure what it was. Not a paper lantern – too high and moving too fast. I’m so glad I’ve read these posts as I’m sure now that I’ve seen some strange phenomena and I’m not going doo lally pip!!! xx

Witness Statement: The sky is cloudy orange, with small twinkling stars. The UFOs are hard to focus on but if you keep watching one of those tiny stars for less than a minute, you will see it move in a surprisingly fast way. Once you see one you can perceive the rest, in your peripheral vision.My daughter has been watching them for days. Look for smallest lights in the sky and keep staring at it. It is quite spooky!

Witness Statement: I was staying at my mobile home in Hemsby for the weekend of 4/5th Sept. The evening was calm and dry with some clouds in the sky. At approx 9pm I went out onto my veranda and immediately saw in the sky an orange ball of fire. I immediately thought it was an aircraft with an engine on fire. It was high up but just below the cloud base but it certainly gave the impression that flames were present. Hard to estimate the speed but from an estimation of the altitude similar speed to an aircraft. It was moving from the direction of the sea(east) in a westerly direction and was at an elevation of approx. 80 degrees from where I was. There was no noise being omitted and remained in sight for at least 1.5 minutes until it was just a pin point in the sky. I cannot understand what it was I was looking at but feel that it must have been seen by other people. I have good eye sight even though I am in my 60's. I have never seen anything like this before and am extremely impressed but very puzzled.

Witness Statement: I was walking into Leigh along St Helens Rd. I'd reached the junction of Beech Walk and St Helens Rd. I noticed something above me across the street (on the same side as Pennington Park). I glanced up and saw a craft just over the rooftops. It was a very quick glance that I took as I was just about to step into the road and so looked away to ensure the road was clear. I immediately looked back up! I realised what I had seen was unusual. I now saw the craft above me and moving very slowly (walking pace). It was totally silent. It was mainly yellow with some dark blue (hard to explain but the colours were very vivid.. not like a yellow or blue I've ever seen). I didn't see any lights. This was a solid craft in daylight just above rooftop height right above me moving at walking pace and making no noise!!!!! After a few seconds the craft flew at enormous speed and was gone in a second or two (towards Manchester direction). I recognised what I had seen was weird and looked round to see if there was anyone else but couldn't see anyone. I went to work and didn't mention it to anyone. The craft had shape but I didn't recognise it as anything... not a helicopter. I remember being struck that it had a kind of "box" thing at the back of it.. hard to describe as I don't know what I saw. I've been puzzled ever since and haven't managed to find anything on the internet that resemmbles what I saw.

Witness Statement: We were just parking the car on the driveway after being out for a meal when I heard my husband bewildered exclamation "What the h... is that? When I looked there were 2 bright balls of light in the sky. They made no noise and they were flying from opposite direction towards one another, crossed one another and flew round one another then one flies Northeast direction and disappears followed by the other seconds later. This was very odd indeed.

Witness Statement: In the back garden waiting for the night's International Space Station flyover at 20.53.46. I was checking the sky prior to the pass over of the ISS and saw a medium bright white star-like object slightly to the north of east quite low down and not where a star usually is at this time in early September and certainly nowhere near the ecliptic so it was definitely NOT JUPITER which was in the vicinity of where the ISS would later pass to the east. I then turned back to see if the ISS was visible but wasn't yet so I turned around and looked towards the north east again and now I saw another white light of a slightly lower magnitude than the first proceeding away from the original one in a straight line downwards at about the apparent pace that a normal high altitude jet airliner would appear to move through the sky at. I had my binoculars with me to view the ISS and was able to train them on these two lights and they appeared to be solitary white lights, no flashing lights or green or red wing tip lights ruling out conventional aircraft. At just after 20.52 the ISS emerged from over the roof tops moving west to east, it's passage being quite high in the sky on that particular orbit.
I kept my binoculars on it for a few more moments then checked behind me again for the two hereto unexplained lights and the second light was now moving perpendicular to it's earlier direction.
My attention changed back to the ISS until it disappeared behind the rooftops to the east about a half minute later.
Looking back over my left shoulder there was now no sign of these two lights and there were no clouds in the sky, which wasn't completely dark at this time for them to have passed behind.

Witness Statement: Have been reading various comments and saw a similar thing approximately 8.30pm: bright orange object travelling in a straight line, no noise, so definitely not a plane/helicopter. Thought it maybe a burning satellite or similar. My children witness it too, as I could not believe my eyes! Seeing the above post has made me think!

Witness Statement: As a passenger in a van I had just finished working on a film set and was on my way home. I was starring out of the van window and as I looked at the clouds I noticed a very bright orange star (the light was so bright it appeared to have broken through the density of the cloud) however as the van drew closer the orange light came closer away from the cloud, such as a plane would do, except this did not appear like any plane I have seen in my lifetime. It honestly looked like a flying star. As the van reached closer and the light flew towards us I could see that it had descended in a perfect diagonal line from the cloud to the tree line. At this point we crossed the parrallel with the light and it appeared to land in the field adjacent to the van, it then to my eyes looked like an aircraft of some description, with a few lights rather than just one, although I myself am unsure of this as the car was passing and then it was no longer possible to see, partly due to the density of the trees along the motorway edge. I had been so solely concentrating on following the one orange light that I had not stopped for a second to look at the original point of origin, but now with the object out of sight i returned to looking forward and again in the cloud I noticed a second orange light following the same path as the first... I then noticed one that was traveling even closer, mid way between the first and second that I saw. So I saw three seperate orange aircraft all together, whether more followed I am unable to say as we past the point. We were also traveling in a car towards the objects and they in turn were traveling towards us, so I have absolutely no idea as to the speed at which they flew.

I have to say I don't usually report things like this, but I saw a seperate ufo event just 6 days prior to this of a different but far scarier nature I shall post this up also. Having seen these two phenomena I decided to look up what I saw in sightings which is where I came across this sight. I am shocked and scared to see how many sightings in the last two days there have been which describe exactly the same thing I witnessed last night,
