Witness Statement: two orange coloured balls in the sky moving from NE to NW, The balls appeared low in the northern sky and travelled relatively slowly from east to west, they were approx 3 minutes apart. they were far bigger than the UARS satelite which travelled across our portion of sky some 15 minutes later

Witness Statement: I saw 3 red lights in a rough triangle formation moving slowly sideways from my perspective.they may have been a x shape but it was hard to tell exactly.Then each faded in turn and vanished.there was very little cloud so although I have never seen anything like this before it prompted me to submit a sighting!

Witness Statement: My son looked out of his bedroom window and saw a very big bright yellow light. It was gliding across the sky, at fairly low altitude. There was no flashing. We watched it travel into the distance on the far horizon. A couple of minutes later he looked out the window and saw another one. It did exactly the same thing. Then it happened a third time! I thought I heard a low engine noise as we watched the third one but I can't say that it was definitely connected to the light. The first two lights had definitely been moving silently. It wasn't a chinese lattern. I've seen them, it was much too big and bright for that and it had a very bright glare and moved in a defined direction on a straight flight path - goodness knows what powers that light at such strength for such a long time. It was almost like a fireball the way it glared, but not fire. Hard to explain unless you saw it. Anybody know what it could have been or will these remain UFO's?

Witness Statement: I saw two silvery white lights that were quite high in the sky. They were following the same path of travel. The leading light shone brighter and brighter then faded to the same light as the one behind. Then they both continued in a line until they faded. This is the first silver light sighting I have seen. I have witnessed a few other sightings that were orange in colour.

Witness Statement: It was a really warm night. so decided to go in my garden to get a bit fresh air. It was really still, as I looked up to the sky, coming down through the clouds,which were high clouds, was a blood red or orange orb. it seemed to travel down toward the earth for a bit then it stopped. It was still very high, and then it started to travel east. this is north of ashington. then it stopped and them disappeared back up into the clouds. thought it was stange! not 5 minuits after that my friend phoned me from newcastle telling me more or less the same story. but they had seen 2. has anyone else seen them??

Witness Statement: I was sat in my garden when I noticed an orange light fly across the sky. Initially I assumed it was an aircraft, but there was no noise. There had been jets flying all evening above the cloud and I could hear them clearly. It was well below the cloud base which was very low. It flew right across the sky and disappeared behind some houses. I wondered if it was something on fire as it was an orange glow. About 5 minutes later two more followed together and again there was no noise. Whatever they were they were powered as they were going quite fast but by what I have no idea.
This sounds similar to the sightings in Rugby and Stratford, both fairly close to here.

Witness Statement: I have for the past hour been watching a perfectly stationary cluster of Green, Blue and Red lights. I have tried to rationalise that it must be a helecopter but can't believe that it would remain fixed in one spot for this lenght of time without any deviation. The lights are also flashing in a random sequence which would also rule out any regular aircraft lighting. I am going to continue to watch to it's conclusion.

Witness Statement: Having a ciggie at kitchen window after a long day spring cleaning and packing, ready for my home move, suddenly, silently, very large, up close, a brilliant orange orb, fiery in appearance, but not emitting flame, glided silently across my window view from right to left.

As I have a seven foot wide window, I get a paroramic view.

It was travelling from South to North. For those who know the area, it came from Eastfield way, and crossed Keswick Drive.

I estimated by it's speed that I had time to get my camera, which I did, as it reached the miday mark, and I took three pictures.

As it passed behind the tree opposite my window (other side of road) I ran outside to try to get more pictures when it came out the other side, but when it did come back into view, it suddenly veered to the right completely changing course, and disappeared so fast into the East, becoming a tiny dot so quickly, it must have seriously gathered speed, since it took much longer, stayed much larger, for a good minute and a half before it turned. Yet, once it changed course, it shrank into a tiny dot and disappeared in seconds.

It's direction then, was straight across Boothville Estate heading towards Weston Favell way.

Witness Statement: Last night i woke up around 1 AM and couldnt get back to sleep. so i decided to sit up for a bit. around 01:30am i decided to look out the window. when i did i saw 2 lights in the sky. a green one and a red one. they were travelling at high speed and none of the lights were flashing or leaving any trail. i ran to the other room to get the camera and when i got back the lights were gone. they dissapeared. 10 minutes after the lights disapeared normal planes were flying and the lights on the planes were flashing on and off as usual. i was like nothing could disapear that quick.

Witness Statement: Sitting outside camper van at this evening me and a friend noticed a orange light travelling from the west I though it might be a helicopter or light aircraft, however as it came overhead there were no navigation or anti collision lights and no engine sound, it was an overcast evening with quite a high altitude cloud covering, it was a steady speed moving easterly, as it dissapeared we were saying how weird was that when I spotted a 2nd one exactly the same thing although this time moving a little faster and a little higher. I ran to the van grabbed my camera zoomed in onit and got a couple of shots of it. Zooming in on the picture on the pc i cant make out any shape at all, I will submit pictures to the site. After telling a couple of people about this quite a few said about lanterns but they were to big at the altitude they were at and they were travelling at different speeds. The wind on the night was relatively calm. I'm sure some air traffic service units may have seen something on radar after reading all the sightings recentley.

Witness Statement: Looking out of our bedroom window, facing towards Wordsley Kingswinford, I saw two orbs apearing out of the sky. They were changing colours from red, blue and yellow, moving fast bouncing all over. One went down to the ground, while the other seemed to just hover there. The light were very intense, and while moving away they did'nt seem to get no smaller. Never seen nothing like this before. Wierd.

Witness Statement: we were on a camping trip an about 12 of us had just had a discussion about seeing satellite's in the night sky, i looked up just as one came into sight, I pointed it out to the others when we all spotted a very bright light following the same course and speed as the satelite, we all instant discounted it as a plane as there was no evidence of the tail or wing lights flashing but looked like it was flying at the same hieght as a plane just larger. the light came from an easterly direction and travelled westerly in a straight line untill it disapeared on the westerly horizon

Witness Statement: i was walking through moulton park industial estate with a friend when he spotted a bright light in the sky at first we thought it was a star but it was moving it came right over our heads and headed toward the town when in the distance it flashed really bright light then it changed colour to orange then headed off out of sight, we also seen two bright flashes off light in the sky in two different places was really strange. also 2yrs back me and a different friend were walking past the racecourse at approx midnight when we saw a couple looking up at the sky pointing we looked up and saw 6-8 bright orange orbs in the sky they looked like balls of fire the all moved at different speeds and in different directions heading they did not make any noise at all my friends have also said they have seen bright orange orbs in the sky in northampton what are they??

Witness Statement: Myself my friend and his partner where standing in his garden when we saw 2 red lights moving in a north to south direction. One light seemed lower in the sky than the other one, after about 2 minutes they disapeared, my friend reported it to the police and was infomed that in the last hour they had had over 100 reports of it. Witness Statement: I was sitting in my garden for most of Sunday evening when at approximately 22:30 I noticed a bright orange glow in the sky which looked like a ball of fire travel slowly across the sky from right to left as I looked towards the direction of Bedford, I asked my partner to fetch my binoculars but unfortunately by the time I got them the light in the sky had nearly faded. I then noticed a second one travelling on the same path as the first one and was able to track it before it faded away. I can only say it was similar to a Chinese lantern but much much larger. Once the orange glow had disappeared I kept focused on the object which then turned black and just seemed to stay in the same place and not drop out of the sky until it completely faded so I was unable to see it anymore. i would like to hear from anyone who has had a similar experience of can shed any light onto what it could have possibly been.

Witness Statement: We had just returned from a friends house. I unlocked the back door to the garden to let the dogs out. I saw an orange coloured light flying slowly from the direction of Cookly, near Kidderminster. It was flying I would estimate in a north eaterly direction. At its closest I would estimate it to have been about 1 mile distance, although it was hard to judge not knowing size. At this point the object abruptly changed direction and headed south towards Worcester. It also appeared to pick up speed and was lost to the naked eye after about 30 seconds. This might have been the end of the sighting, but after 1 minute another object appeared and follwed the exact same path and speed. Followed by a further 3 at the same interval.
I called my wife out to observe when the first object appeared and she stayed with me. We wrote down accounts of what we saw seperately and found that they matched. Witness Statement: Letting dog out before heading to bed and saw a orange glow flying west to east inline with Venus bright star. I called my wife who witness it with my 8 year old son.
There was no sound or flashing however there was a black object inside the glow.
It was travel below the clouds and very fast, much quicker than a Jet or propelled aircraft.
Could well be a Chinese Lantern but it was travelling into the wind at this time.
Not sure what to make of it...

Witness Statement: I saw a large object with bright orange lights on the bottom creating a glowing effect to the whole object. It moved quite quickly and seemed pretty low in the sky. It followed quite a straight line of travel and then it moved behind houses out of view. It was as bright as a firework and had no noise to it at all. It was quite spectacular. Witness Statement: Went out to look at Venus in the western dusk at around 10pm. Saw an orange light which we immediately took to be an aircraft approaching from the south. As it got closer we saw a green flashing light which further suggested an aircraft (maybe tail light). However, as it came over the green flashing light appeared to be rotating around the object so was not a fixed tail or wing light. At its closest you could see a dark amorphous shape which appeared to change as it moved along; very unusual. The first object was followed by 3 more taking the same trajectory. The objects took about 2 minutes to make the transit across the south west to north west sky at about 30 degress elevation.
So there may have been more but we saw 4 in total. I understand the lantern explanation for orange lights but have not read of rotating green flashing lights or the amorphous grey / black shadowy presentation of these objects before.

Witness Statement: After finishing our BBQ last night we witnessed an unusual bright ball of shimmering orange light rising up slowly into the atmosphere, getting less and less bright eventually going out completly. We all passed this off as a Chinese lantern and so continued on with our evening. About half an hour later in a completly different part of the sky this same light appeared again this time travelling slightly quicker but horizontally across the sky this time it was higher up in the atmosphere, we could tell because a fast jet flew beneath it. Again the light flickered out and disappeared from sight.
After another half an hour, the same ball of light appeared again this time just above roof height but some distance away moving slowly and eventually going out as before. The easiest way of describing how it went out would be to imagaine turning off a light with a dimmer switch. Most peculiar! Any ideas?

Witness Statement: I know it may sound crazy but Sandy and I saw something very unusual last night. 10 big bright orange spots (extremely bright like stars) surrounded by triangular haze about 11:30pm. Flying from the Boating Lake towards Weldon. They were close to us and flying quitely one-by-one. Don’t believe in UFO but just wonder what the "crazy" is that. They all moved like an aeroplane and hover like a helicopter about 2 mins each then flied again until disappeared.

Witness Statement: It was about 11.15pm, i was in my kitchen and happened to look out of the window and i spotted this really bright orange/red light that apeared to be over the house tops, i then went into my garden to have a look and to my surprise it started moving at quite a speed horizontaly, i was quite amazed, then two more in a diagonal formation apeared from the same direction so i ran in and got my partner to come and see them too! The first one seemed to join them in formation then it sped off, the other two were in perfect sequence then they both sped off. They apeared in the south then sped off west. I also tried to video this but it came out very poorly, what apeared very close seemed very far away when filmed and zoomed in. Also another parent at the school had seen the same as me but an hour later

Witness Statement: I was working on a door of a bar as a door supervisor with a collegue of mine. I noticed in the sky an orange ball which was definitely not a star so I asked my collegue to have a look and he too did not know what to think of it. Our shift was 3 hours and in this time we saw a few of these orange globes and they would move in curving directions and dissapear. Then an orange light would reappear in a totally different position in the sky, they definetly moved and there are no airlines active due to the volcano erupti
ng in Iceland.
At one point I noticed two globes one above the other. They move quick and just dissapear.
Im sure these are not laterns as they were not in big groups and appeared in totally different places in the sky which would be hundreds or thousands of miles apart.
These were definitely not stars as the glow of orange was intense and they definitely moved, theymave have only been two as I only saw to at the same time in the sky.
