Witness Statement: I witnessed an extremely pulsing bright red light moving north west, very low altitude, at very high speed. It was just below the cloud level and approximately 150 to 200 foot across, possibly triangular in shape, and utterly silent. It moved across the sky and then took off at enormous speed. It was heading towards Edinburgh airport.

Where abouts in Edinburgh W J Fibbz? Its dark, how do you know its 150-200 feet across aqnd triangular? What’s a low altitude to you?
If it was heading for Edinburgh/Turnhouse I would contact ATC – nasty if it hit something coming in or out?

Interesting surname is “Fibbz” !! … No one is recorded in the UK births, deaths or marriages with that name since records began in 1837!! Maybe ‘Fibbz’ is a bit of a ‘fibber’ !! ;0
