Witness Statement: Object was witnessed by my two children which was satillite looking but very low with a bright white light at the back. It made a humming noise and moved very slowly then stopped above them and then disappeared in a blink of an eye.
I also witnessed the same object in the same area but have never reported it. But as my children came indoors and starting to describe what they had seen, I was able to describe it as well.

Probably some sort of ‘probe’ sent out from an alien mothership.

Why a probe from an alien mother ship? Why not a radio controlled craft from earth, which is much more probable?
