............ Latest UFO Sightings & News from around the UK and USA. Report a UFO Sighting.

Lincolnshire-29th August 2013

Location of Sighting: Lincolnshire
Date of Sighting: 29.08.13
Time: 22.10
Witness Name: Katie

Witness Statement: I just walked out into my garden to let the dog out and a glowing bright white light was tearing across the sky at a ridiculously fast speed I assumed it was a shooting star but then it stopped dead in the sky still glowing .I watched it completely stationary in the sky for a few minutes then ran inside because it freaked me out! this was no plane or satellite I really hope there is an explanation for this .

  1. Stephen, your one hundred per cent correct.

T Wood, accept it Steve T is spot on too!

Why is it every light in the sky is alien in origin?

However, maybe they visit Toynton All Saints graveyard.

Why? There was a rumour in 1943 that a strange object was shot down near an airfield close by. Its occupant, what was left of him/her, had fair hair and was buried in the old church yard by the RAF. There were lots of stories of women giving birth to fair haired blue eyed babies over the next 9 months! Some of these were said to be immaculate conceptions! Or so they say.

  2. Hi Steve T,

The SR71 is, with respect, just like any other military craft, it has noisy engines, wings, fuselage, air intakes, engine cowlings, it was capable of Mach3, & the radius of turn (at Mach3) was circa 20 miles, ‘objects observed’, as you know, are ‘lights’, ‘discoid’, & ‘triangular forms’, completely devoid of sound & have total disregard of the fundamental laws of aerodynamics (angular turns) that govern all ‘flying forms’ apart from the aforementioned.

Katie said ‘a glowing bright white light was tearing across the sky at a ridiculously fast speed I assumed it was a shooting star but then it stopped dead in the sky still glowing .I watched it completely stationary in the sky for a few minutes then ran inside because it freaked me out! this was no plane or satellite I really hope there is an explanation for this’.

Call me ‘desperate’ Steve, but I simply don’t believe (as I’ve said many times before) that humanity are near this capability of vast speeds, instantaneous stops, angular turns, & why this ‘glowing’?.

If, as you say, ‘it’s military’, than I would counter that if that’s the case, I would say, why isn’t this ‘power unit’ of complete silence, unbelievable acceleration, no apparent interaction with the ‘object’ & surrounding air molecules to cause sonic booms, then how come the military hasn’t used this for the space programme?. It’s been so long since we went to the moon, surely this is ‘Manna from heaven’ for NASA, & mans advancement to
    Mars & beyond.

I’m inclined to disagree with ‘T wood’ on the ‘raising awareness’ subject, simply because of the emotional impact on civilisations if ‘they’ were to appear ‘en masse’, I believe it would be catastrophic on mankind’s ‘belief system’.

All ‘sightings’ are observed mainly by individuals going about there daily lives, taking the dog out, putting the rubbish out, out for a fag’, etc.

And as Katie said ‘she ran indoors’, because it ‘freaked me out’, imagine what would happen if ‘they’ were to appear all over the globe?, time to stock up on the canned food, head for the shelter, no baked beans though ;-).

  3. “…I simply don’t believe (as I’ve said many times before) that humanity are near this capability of vast speeds, instantaneous stops, angular turns, & why this ‘glowing’?.!”

Just as, fifty years ago, you would likely have refused to believe that an Sr-71 could achieve what it could. Note, nowhere was I saying this sighting is an SR-71, i’m using it as an example of the advancement of technology beyond what we can perceive. I would find it truly astounding if there are NOT aircraft from this earth capable of speeds and manouvres well beyond those of the latest jet fighters, simply because those – the Typhoon, J-35, F22 etc – are current, in-service hardware; the next generation will be well advanced in development by now, just as those mentioned have not come to fruition in the space of a few months. Aerospace development works with a view to many years ahead – it has to. So, consider this: what is the next step beyond the current generation of highly agile, fast and capable fighters, bombers and reconnaissance aircraft? Are you seriously of the belief that research and development has been put on hold for now, because the Typhoon does the job? Believe me, those jets in service now are already out of date; that’s the way the industry works. Taranis, and it’s ilk, hold the clue you are looking for. No pilot needed.

  4. Chris, your stuck in another time. We have the capability, we have the aircraft, they fly. Steve T is spot on.

  5. Hi Steve T,

Totally understand that you’re not suggesting this was the SR71.

With reference the your comment, ‘Aerospace development works with a view to many years ahead – it has to’. You’ll have to forgive me, but, we can only ‘work’ with what we’ve got at hand at a given moment in time, that’s like saying we invented the light bulb before electricity was invented!.

As you know, every aircraft produced has a leading edge to give lift, & other associated aerofoil devices for maintaining flight.

When people say it made a ‘angular turn’ (like the ‘L’ on your keyboard) without any loss of forward speed, then with that manoeuvre the need for a wing becomes redundant because the aircraft no longer requires the help of air molecules over it’s surface to carry out this most bizarre manoeuvre.

Regarding the total lack of any sound made by these objects, would,
as I’ve said before mean that there is a power source that has no moving parts, & as in the case of Elsie Oakensen & the ‘dumbbell shape’ object she passed under, that she said made no sound, (as it made no sound it would be incorrect to say it ‘hovered’ because that implies that it was ‘powered’. There is no way in the world
that this was a man made object. I say that because for what purpose would a ‘dumbbell shaped’ object serve & what was it doing ‘hanging’ over the road?.

If the engineers have made this discovery it would be a ‘game changer’ in terms of technology because there would be no need to produce any more aircraft with wings, wouldn’t you agree?.

Whilst you may cite the ‘Taranis’ as to the answers to my questions, I’m willing to have a bet with you that like any other military plane, it will have a noisy jet engine, a leading edge & all the other paraphernalia associated with jets, but, it won’t ‘glow’, be able to come to a ‘dead stop’, & make an ‘angular’ turn.

  6. I’m about 5 years to the party – However I would like to confirm I also saw this at around 11-11.30pm on this night. It was north lincolnshire over the town of Brigg.

I thought it was a plane coming towards the house. However after putting the dog to bed and turning the TV off, I look again, it was now purple and glowing closer/bigger. It turned orange – so it must haveen hovering for a good 3-5min – then it shot off like a shooting star, kinda a curved line. It left a light trail like you see in films with shooting stars.

I stayed up for another 15mins but it didn’t reappear.
