Margate, Kent-2nd March 2013
Location of Sighting: Margate, Kent
Date of Sighting: 02/03/13
Time: Roughly 7:30 PM
Witness Name: Sam
Witness Statement: I was walking on the beach when a rapidly flashing orange light emerged out of the sea, stayed in the air for a few seconds, and then flew up out of sight at a unbelievably high speed. I have no photographic evidence as all this happened before I could take a photo. The UFO was quite far out at sea, so I do not know how big it was, but I would say at least a few meters in diameter. Thank you for reading my report – Sam

Hi Sam, an interesting sighting. If you see any light move from sea level into the air please ring the coastguard. It could be a distress flare and someone could be in serious trouble. Its always better to be safe than sorry! An interesting sighting none the less.

Thee have been lots of reports of USOs (Unidentified Submerged Objects) over the years, perhaps most famously the Shag Harbour incident:

Once again T. wins the Most Unlikely Scenario Award. Bless him! Sounds like a clear case of a distress flare to me.

Good comment Peter, unfortunately it happens in cases of distress.

Hello Sam. Your UFO Sighting is very interesting. I regularly observe the same type of orange, glowing fireball UFO Vehicles hovering, dancing and flying around over the Thames Estuary. They also seem to teleport between locations in flashes of light.
