UK UFO Sightings

Location of Sighting: A1079 Dunnington area York
Date of Sighting: 5/5/2012
Time: 21:30 ~21:35 approx.
Witness Name: Jason

Witness Statement: I was front seat passenger travelling to stamford bridge, looking at moon (on our right hand side). The moon was covered with v thin cloud and was very visible, but with a hue, i would estimae around 15% opacity. What i saw was a flash just to the left (east) of the moon. It was equal or greater brightness to the moon and lasted for maybe a quarter of a second. I kept looking for the next 5 mins or so but it didnt happen again. I wonder if anyone else saw this? I estimate the size of the light to be around 1/8th the size of the moon and around the dame size distance away. I saw only light, no other shape or form in the sky. But what i saw did not look like anything on earth like lightening etc.

Witness Statement: My friends and I went into the garden for a smoke and saw a big flash in the sky that looked like lightening at first but had no sound. These flashes kept occurring in intervals of 30 seconds and kept speeding up to about 20 seconds at a time. The flashes were getting bigger and the colours of the clouds changed into different colours as the flash occurred. These flashes started at around 11:30pm on 30th April 2012 and carried on for over an hour. We also filmed it from a friend of mine’s phone below is the link.

p.s :we had a few drinks so i appologise for the faul language used now and then.

Witness Statement: There was this flashing sky in the skyline of London and I'm pretty sure there was no lights around this time and are not projected, they were flashing pretty in the dark clouds I do not know what they are.

Witness Statement: Living in a village 3 miles east of Bath, I awoke to see huge flash of light across the hills on the horizon in the direction of Bristol. There was a bright column of light in the middle - possibly it was sheet lightning but it was very bright like daylight and very quiet - there was no thunder at all. A second flash followed after a few minutes. Again there was no thunder.

Witness Statement: last night i decided to go out for a rollie in the garden and claire was next to me on the laptop.
it was totally clear and could see some stars clearly, as i was looking at the sky i noticed a bright white flash like one from a camera far away, it was as bright and big as venus which you can see as the brightest planet atm.
The moment i saw it i kept looking in the direction and 5 seconds later it flashed again, at this point i saw a pale round ball object move across the sky very fast and out of sight.

i said to claire that i saw a ufo and shuddered out of exitment and told her to come out to wach with me in the sky, she was envious and wanted to see one too as she did not believe me and wanted proof.
about five minuets later i caught sight of the same flash and tod her to look up where i was pointing, as we were looking it flashed again 6 seconds later and she saw it.
then it dissapared behind the trees, we kept looking up and could you believe it again we saw the bright white flash and it moved the opposite direction and flashed 4 times each with 5 second intervals miles in the silent sky, then it dissapered. to this day i always knew that we re not alone and cant wait for them to make them selves known to humanity on Dec 21 2012.

Witness Statement: Hi ! I was out in the garden as it was sunny yesterday evening. There was a silver sphere spinning very high up in the sky and got my dad to see it without the binos. It stayed there for almost an hour.The silver of its surface was shining as last rays of sun was falling on it. With the binoculars it looked as though it had spikes.No idea what that was. As it got darker it was no where to be seen. what was it I saw ?

Witness Statement: Looking out of the window , north facing and saw lights in the clouds as if a plane was turning. This was a white light as if a spotlight was in the cloud but with no sign of the light coming up from the ground, it had a horizontal beam. The light swept left to right repeatedly for about ten minutes. I woke my wife up and we both watched it. It then grew faint and faded away. I've seen this once before , again in cloud during daylight in the same location. I'm not a believer in " little green men" so I'm hoping someone can tell me its a light they know of , a nightclub in Crewe for instance.

Witness Statement: Sound first outside,like a steam boat sound.looked out of the window and it was as high as a helicopter,it was round and very big the detail was round shaped with 6 round lights at the back and the front was shaped like a Mexicans hat that was all lit up as well .

Witness Statement: Sitting in my room last night i thought i was going mad as i saw occasional flashes in the sky. We live under the Heathrow flightpath but it was far to bright to be a plane.
I saw it from a dark room and it looked like a orb just below the cloud-line flashing a very brief flash at irregular intervals. It did seem to move very slowly south.
It was as bright as lightning without thunder or forks.
My girlfriend and her mum also saw it .

I hope someone has a bit of enlightenment
