Witness Statement: Glanced out bedroom window,looking at the trees in the strong winds, and I then noticed something going very fast like a ball from west to east,not to high either like 100 or so feet higher than the trees that are on a hill,it was shiny green and maybe blue, it was on a straight path, and was out of sight in no time,it could have been a child’s balloon but I’m not sure,it was very fast in a strong wind and kept a straight line not swaying off at all.it glowed also which is why I thought it may have not been a balloon.

Sounds like a meteor or something similar. I take it you mean one in the morning?

No in the afternoon, and it was to low and dint have a tail like a meteor and looked more like a ball it was weird to see,it was tiny more like a light flying by, I can’t describe it,,it wasn’t on fire and it was an object,I’m not saying it was ufo I’m saying it wast a meteor,don’t know what it was,

Whereabouts were you looking towards in Maltby, so I can visualise it? Not many hills around Maltby. How long were you watching it for? Probably not a meteor if in the afternoon. Could have been one of those helium-filled character balloons reflecting the sun.

it could be a chinease lantern. they have a flame inside and make the whole thing light up bright ornge and sometimes flicker. they look cool and many mistake them for space craft.search chinease lanterns on youtube
