Witness Statement: Loud noise and vibration above / around house, went outside to see what was causing this noise, and above Strathearn looking west, I saw large stationery object in the sky. This object had a brilliant white in the middle, and flashing blue all round edges of the object. There was no noise, and lights were pulsating. Object in view for about 15 or 20 minutes, and then all of a sudden, the object took off in a flash, heading south over the Ochils. Size of object was very large, possibly about 40 metres in length (rough estimate). This was my first sighting of a ufo.

Saw similar 2 years ago to the day. Reported on this site under Kincardine Fife. The object I saw was probably spherical and at least as large as you report. It also pulsated and was bright and clear and was heading into the Ochils although at the angle it was travelling it may have been landing!! I only had a few moments to observe it – stunning nevertheless

Did you get any video or photos of your 15 minute sighting?
Did you have time to phone or fetch a friend or neighbour to corroborate your 140 foot long sighting?

Katey, when I read your report, the first thing I thought of was it could be a ‘blimp’, but they are not known for taking off in a flash, so it couldn’t have been that! However, I’m a little puzzled that you said there was ‘loud noise and vibration’, but later said that ‘there was no noise’. Could you please clarify that for me? Did the noise suddenly stop and if so, at what point? Very interesting sighting by the way! Thanks for sharing!

In the 15 – 20 minutes that the object was visible, were you able to get any photos or video?

The fact that you don’t know whether or not there was any noise, having initially said there was and that you didn’t manage to get an image of this alleged object, despite having 15 minutes to do it, makes me suspicious of this sighting. Sorry, Katey.

To clarify what happened, there was loud noise and vibration coming from outside above the house. By the time I got to the back door, the noise had stopped. I looked outside and saw this large object in the sky. I can only confirm the sighting was real, unfortunately I did not get any photographs of this object.
