Bellsbank, Dalmellington-10th November 2013

Location of Sighting: Bellsbank, Dalmellington Scotland
Date of Sighting: 10th November 2013
Time:b4pm ish
Witness Name: Brittany

Witness Statement:Brittany is my daughter. She is 14 and was in her bedroom. It wasn’t dark but was turning dusky. She happened to look out the window which views onto the woods and in our garden she saw what she describes as an egg type shape, dark coloured with glowing lights on the bottom. It was hovering and made no sound. She got a fright and was shaking then cried. The object flew away in direction of loch doon very fast. She said it was gone as quick as it had appeared. As if it appeared out of nowhere. Just wondering has anyone else ever seen anything strange in the skies around this area?

Maybole-5th June 2013

Location of Sighting: Maybole
Date of Sighting: 05/06/2013
Time: 17:54
Witness Name: Jim

Witness Statement: Just before 6pm I saw a small shining object in the sky, the area it was flying in was clear and there was no trail behind it so couldn’t have been a plane and there was no noise so it couldn’t have been a helicopter. It appeared to be spinning and moving quite fast. There’s very little wind today so I doubt it could have been a balloon at the speed it was travelling. I tried to record it on my hd video camera but looking at the screen it didn’t show up, so I transferred it to my laptop where it still didn’t show up on the screen.

Troon, Ayrshire Scotland-Summer 1985

Location of Sighting: Troon, Ayrshire Scotland
Date of Sighting: Summer 1985
Time: afternoon
Witness Name: John

Witness Statement: I was 7 or 8 years old, playing with two friends directly in front of my house. Myself and 1 of the friends were sitting on our bikes next to a lamp-post with the other friend standing in front. Everything was very quiet and calm, when we began to hear a faint rumbling noise which very quickly rose to a deafening roar. I’ll always remember the friend standing in front of my bike, crouched down to the ground holding my handle bars screaming, terrified by the noise. I’m sure she had her eyes closed, which makes me wonder if she even witnessed what myself and other friend saw. Extremely startled with shoulders hunched we instinctively turned to the direction in which we thought was the source of the noise.
Looking to the outlet of the cul-de-sac which went on to a main road, we saw to the right, at an altitude of approx 25ft just above the roofs and following the road, a matt black object shaped like a bullet make an almost right angle turn into the cul-de-sac in which we were, pass directly over us and continue to follow the road to the end of the cul-de-sac and beyond over a railway line used for shunting, a golf course and disappeared from view heading towards a large hill in the distance. I remember running to my back garden, going into the kitchen and telling my mother what we saw, who at the time said she heard the roar, but when I described the incident to her again years later, She had totally forgotten. Thankfully I drew a picture of the object at the time, which I have just recently found, which is partly why I’m finally reporting it.
The object we witnessed had no wings or cockpit which could identify it as any commonly known aircraft. Even being only 8 years old, I had a knowledge of usual aircraft in the area as there was an airport nearby also with an RAF squadron stationed there. I went to frequent airshows and saw lots of military aircraft. I have wanted to accept that it was perhaps a low flying harrier from the nearby squadron due to the obvious jet propulsion, which to me explains the roar, but no matter how hard I try to accept this, it just does not sit right, and I know that is not what we saw. The only other explanation that I can think of is some sort of projectile or missile, which is extremely worrying, as if is the case, would mean it was being guided 25ft over a populated area. With the sighting being during the cold war, is it possible these kind of exercises occurred? There was a USAF airbase located close by at the time (RAF Machrihanish) which was a very secret NATO base. Is it possible it came from there?
There are other points to the sighting, but being so long ago I can’t recall accurately.

Kilmarnock, Irvine-4th October 2012

Location of Sighting: Ayrshire (Kilmarnock, Irvine)
Date of Sighting: October 4th
Time: 20.00-21.00
Witness Name: Rebekah Lennon + Mother

Witness Statement: Driving between Irvine and Kilmarnock down the motorway to Kilmarnock from Irvine a flash which illuminated the whole sky was seen…bursts of this flashing was happening 2-5 minutes at a time…it was lighting up the whole sky while it was happening. I was sitting in Morison’s car park while my partner was in the shop, whilst sitting in the car the lights illuminated the whole sky again several other times. It was a freezing cold night with clear skies to start with then it started raining towards the end of the night, my daughter also spotted this whilst walking to Glasgow Bus Station from Townhead…she thought it was a bright camera flash at the time or lights from the city buildings but when she seen it several times it she didn’t believe a camera flash could light up the sky. Having looked into this and see a lot of people seeing this in the sky and people seeing various different flashes in the sky, some blue green (which we spotted) some seen red orange. I have photographic evidence from someone on facebook who seen this as well but was miles away from Glasgow or Ayrshire. I know that many people might have witnessed this on the evening of October 4th. I have been looking into it for a while to see what it actually was as it was very puzzling.

Ayr-September 2011

Location of Sighting: Ayr
Date of Sighting: September 2011
Time: 7.30pm
Witness Name: Anon

Witness Statement: I saw a large orange ball of light stationary above the water out towards Ayr bay before it moved very quickly in a straight direction towards Arran before it looked like it disappeared high into the sky. We look over Ayr bay so get a good view towards Ayr, Prestwick and the sea towards Arran.

I know the difference between Chinese lanterns and it definitely wasn’t one. It was also definietly not a plane, with Prestwick Airport so close by, you know the difference.

I have seen these lights on more than one occasion and will start recording the dates and times, the one in September last year was the first one I saw. I have also seen two similar orange objects above the Carrick Hills in Ayr, with the same stationary behaviour before moving off high into the sky at very high speed.

The way they move so quickly as well as being stationary for long periods is really strange and much too big to be lanterns.

On a holiday to Arran my mother claimed she saw orange balls of light dancing along the Firth of Clyde early in the morning as she couldn’t sleep…..this was over 20 years ago and we thought she was talking nonsense.

Having seen these strange lights myself makes me question what she saw.

Definietly some strange going ons!
