Northamptonshire, NN6-December 2011

Location of Sighting: Northamptonshire, NN6
Date of Sighting: December 2011 various
Time: aprox 11pm both times
Witness Name: Dan, Rebecca, David

Witness Statement: Around 11pm one night last december my girlfriend was going to bed and called me upstairs. the back of our house overlooks fields for about 2 miles until the horizon. hovering over this horizon was what looked like a circle of white lights with a red light moving around it. it kind of swayed from side to side. we both sat there watching it for apron 3 minutes. we couldn’t hear any engine noise, tho it was far away. After a few minutes another one appeared above it and then lowered down and they both disappeared over the horizon. It was the strangest thing i have ever seen. Did not move like a helicopter and certainly not a plane. A couple of weeks later my friend David and i saw it again at around the same time. This time there was only one and it was again swaying from side to side but then accelerated quickly up and to the right and disappeared from view. I am very skeptical and have tried to figure out what they were but cannot.

  1. Possibly LED kites?

  2. Hi,

Have you seen the footage of the Welsh encounter here?

This happened in early January of this year and I’d be keen to hear your comments. I’m not going to say anymore about why because I’d be intrigued to read your comments, you having viewed the video without any preconceptions generated by me 😉

  3. I have noticed exactly the same thing outside my house, I see them all the time and there’s usually about 3.

  4. Where do you live Amy? I presume you’ve taken photos or videos of them if they are that common?
