Wooler, Northumberland/ Scottish Borders-23rd & 24th April 2011

Location of Sighting: Wooler, Northumberland/ Scottish Borders
Date of Sighting: 23/24th of april 2011
Time: between 2200 and 0100 hours
Witness Name: joseph bevitt

Witness Statement: i was looking out of my window just to look up at the stars, when i a bright blue/ white light flashed across the sky filling the sky with light for a few seconds, it seemed to come from south of my window, then from the north of my window, then from the east, and finally from the south east of the window, i have no reasonable explanation for this light, as i could not see the source , but when the light flashed in in the north and the east of the window there was a notable increase in the intensity of the light, at first i thought it was the power lines getting overloaded but dismissed it, lastly there was no sound accompanied with th flashes of light, which could sometimes be a single flash or sometimes a triple flash. the last mystery was what looked like shooting star which as it seemed to burn up, due to there being a white tail to it, it changed direction from it’s northwestern direction to head towards the north, when this happened th light flashes started to move around the sky from north west to east to south east, if you have any explanations, they would be gladly listened to.
thanks
